  • DeCarlo Rules: Also I'm sure that when Life With Kevin is released as a digital comic, you will probably see ad links to buy it on ComiXology and Archie Digital on all the normal comics news sites.

  • DeCarlo Rules: Trust me, when Life With Kevin becomes available as a digital comic, it will be mentioned in the news section of ArchieComics.com and by Jonathan on the Riverdale Podcast. I would guess that shortly after the first story arc is completed as a digital comic, they will collect the chapters into a graphic novel and put it in the normal Archie solicitations.
  • CAPalace: I'm guessing it won't be in solicits because solicits are mostly for comic book stores to know what's coming out for their customers. They'll probably advertise the Kevin comic in the digests/other comics and online, I guess.

  • BettyReggie: So does anyone know when Life With Kevin will come out? It's a shame, it's will be digital. I would love real copy. And will show it the solicts?

  • DeCarlo Rules: I think Adam Hughes is fine for the 'good girl art' approach, but going with the illustrative/realistic style as opposed to the cartoon style is just wrong to me. On the other hand, I have no problem with J. Bone's version of Kevin Keller -- it's not that far away from the original.

I don't collect the digests, but I was never crazy about the Story & Game covers when the cover itself was a game.

I count 13 things wrong, how about you?  :)

If we're going to see a cover with an extreme close-up of Betty and Veronica gossiping about Archie, we could at least get a spoken or visual gag behind it!

Of course, what's more unforgivable is having a spelling mistake in the cover gag itself.

Hang on, why did Veronica's eyes turn blue?

Yeah, in a story, I can see how it can be missed.  A cover gag, though...I dunno...  ;)

(Spelling errors irk me in general though...LOL)

Who's to say they aren't blue? We usually see nothing of the girls' eyes except the typical black dots.

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.

I think they kept the black dot eyes all those years to make Cheryl's green eyes stand out more.

This cover kind of stinks.

a) It's joke-free.

b) Archie is impressed by some really mediocre-looking cheerleading.  He should watch the competitions on ESPN sometime.  (Actually, knowing Archie, he probably does.)

I can see why. What a lame routine. No way are they winning the national title! :)

Well, that and the sun appears to be going super nova. :)

The supernova destroyed Archie's version of Earth-2, where the covers have no jokes and the cheerleaders are merely adequate.  :)

The obvious joke is Archie's hideous flannel shirt.  Is he going to be giving out paper towels?

And is the asian-esque girl under Betty an actual character or just one of those phantom teenagers that roam the halls of Riverdale High like ghosts to be seen once and never again?

I always thought it was Tomoko.  The cover's too old for it to be Kumi.  :D
