  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

I think there was another thread like this earlier, but who's keeping count? XD

My OTP is Melody/Alexandra Cabot  (The ultimate opposites attract couple.  An evil bratty rich girl and an airheaded space case oblivious to everything.  They were made for eachother.  Xd)

Runners Up:

Betty/Veronica (Great best friends who sometimes fight, but still make up at the end type cute couple.)

Josie/Alexander Cabot III (Definitely a million times better than other options like Alan M. and Albert I think.  Also good because it's opposites attract.)

For non-romantic pairings, Veronica & Jughead...those two can push each other's buttons like no tomorrow!

Yeah,

In an alternate LWA, Jug marries Ron. Ron has no head for business, Jug would tell her otherwise but he is always over-ruled because he married her for money. Ron keeps on making one disaster after another, Jug deserts her in disgust. Lodge Industries goes bankrupt. Ron frames Jug for the event and a huge worldwide manhunt is launched for the greatest embezzler of all time.

How's that for a pairing ? :)

Betty/Cheryl. The possibilities are endless here. Sugar and spice. Betty playing peacekeeper between Cheryl and her other friends - especially Veronica. Archie not knowing how to feel about the entire thing. Betty having to defend her choice of Cheryl to pretty much everyone - especially Veronica.

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.
