  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

  • Biollante: gonna be hard for anyting to catch up, Ridley Scott is pretty much the top of dark visual design imo, and he drew a lot from Moebius for that film, most fillm makers are not really connected to aestheticas of good fantasy film making in the same way

My Christmas Present To You - Updated With One Last Sketch!

Hi Archie Fans,

The season of giving is nearly upon us, and I'm feeling generous. I'd like to to draw a one-of-a-kind sketch of your favourite Archie Comics related character (or two) for the first five people that ask for it in this thread.

I'll scan and post the finished sketches in this thread and, if you'd like, send you the original sketch card - roughly the size of a Christmas card :) -  in the mail.

All I ask in return is that you have a Merry Christmas and go a little out of your way to do something nice for someone else this holiday season.

As for everyone else, feel free to make requests if you'd like. I'll do what I can on a first come first serve basis.

I'm hoping to have the first sketch or two scanned and posted by tomorrow or Wednesday.

Well...as long as you're taking requests...I've always been a fan of Jughead.  Anything involving Jughead would work great for me.  :)

Wow, thank you!  I love it!  You did an awesome job!  Very nice job on their character designs and great job on their their outfits as well.  Melody's costume looks great, and I like the text, Va Va Voom, on Alexandra's shirt.  The scene is also adorable and I really like how Melody's tail is wrapping around Alexandra.  Very cute!  Thank you for making this!

You deserve them, I had to take some art classes myself and although I am a nitwit at drawing I know the effort which goes into it. Again there are some people who have a knack so to say and they can draw well no matter what. However, even that is a gift which must be nurtured.

There are a lot of fan pics on deviantart. If you are not there already, it's a great place to showcase your talent. Forums like these are more geared towards text and the images here don't usually turn up in Google searches.
