That's very true! I actually learned a lot of vocabulary as a kid while I read Archie comics. The dialogue was a lot smarter and it was clever. What 10 year old knows the phrase "No, but if you hum a few bars..."? This one did ;)

LOVE 'No, but if you hum a few bars..?'  It's up there with 'Goombye, please!'
Personally, I thank Frank Doyle for about a quarter of my vernacular.
