How often do you reread your comics?
« on: May 02, 2013, 08:46:29 AM »
I do take my time reading my comics, I have been reading all my Life with Archie magazines again. I'm up to number 10. It's like a soap opera.

Lately(meaning the past few days) I have been re-reading some of my double digest because I don't have any new ones to read at the moment. Most of the time I usually do take my time and red them all carefully once and then store them in a cardboard box.

I never re-read my comics. In the early days of reading I would just read them and throw them away(shame shame). Then  would read then and shortly after that give them to Goodwill. Now I read them and by the time I am finished them all I have purchased a new batch to read.

When I go on long family vacations I take like 20 comics with me to reread.  It's fun for a long 5-6 hour car ride

I wish I could do that, but I get terribly car sick when I read in the car.

When I first get a comic, I tend to read it a few times in the span of a few days. Then I go weeks or months before I read it again.

All the time. I basically only collect digests, usually bought at the used book store. All of them have been in my bathroom at one point or another and I rotate them fairly regularly.

Time is money. Never waste an opportunity. A man may be king of his castle, but the throne room is the seat of power.

I've been hearing or reading about this sort of thing since I was a kid. Comics, newspapers, magazines, paperbacks, whole book shelves...?  Why exactly are people spending inordinate amounts of time in the bathroom beyond what is necessary?  Just to read? Really?
