Currently I only have comics.  I am storing them in standard comic bags with backer boards in short boxes.

How does everyone store their digests?

I havent seen any storage materials that size at the comic book store or online.

Thanks

Chad

Most of mine are just sitting out in the open on my bookshelf gathering dust...

When I can't find any storing packages for digests and double digests, I don't get mad... I get glad, glad Ziploc bags that is. Grin

I find that sometimes double digests are a bit of a tight squeeze, trying to get it in without bending the book at all. But, eventually, I successfully manage to force the book in and I have a perfect preservation method. Smiley

Honestly, I have them all inside one gigantic bookshelf.  To me, a collection should be enjoyed, so none of mine are plastic wrapped or anything.

I'm not in it for cash value anyway...I'm in it strictly for the entertainment.

Hahaha! Whenever I get a new haul of Archies they definitely go straight to the bathroom. It's much better than a shampoo bottle, that's for sure! I keep them in a stack on the floor next to the toilet. Whenever I'm done with that stack of Archies (Meaning I've read them repeatedly to the point of predicting every story in every digest) I take them out and put them in a shoebox and store them away in my room. Every once in a while I go to my shoe boxes and dig some up that I put there a year ago, and it's like havng new stories all over again. =)

I have to be careful though...I have a cat who likes to jump into my arms when I'm using the bathroom. But I have yet to drop an Archie Digest into the toilet.

The ones my family (eg not me) buys always end up in the bathroom at some point. However, they  usually end up staying there, so eventually they get messed up do to water damage from steam from the shower. If I take a comic into the bathroom with me I make sure it leaves when I do as I don't want mine getting warped, especially because I collect so many of the older ones - I want to keep them in good condition.

That's very funny since I also have a cat who loves to do that, and she's a bit on the fat side so I have to be ready if she's going to jump.

My cat doesn't like to jump on me - she just likes to either follow me into the bathroom or sit outside the door meowling pitifully and pawing at the door until I come out...

I'll admit to reading the digests in the bathroom occasionally too. It's a nice short read.
