  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

  • Biollante: gonna be hard for anyting to catch up, Ridley Scott is pretty much the top of dark visual design imo, and he drew a lot from Moebius for that film, most fillm makers are not really connected to aestheticas of good fantasy film making in the same way

Need Some Help with Ad Text

I want to advertise this board through Google AdWords, but have a slight problem - Archie Comics has apparently told Google they don't want people using their trademarks in the ad text, so I can't use any character names or even the phrase "Archie comics" in the ad text. I need help coming up with a new ad phrase that will make people want to visit this site.

The original text is as follows:

Your one-stop spot for discussing
everything related to Archie comics

The only limitation is that each line can only be 35 characters long, including spaces.

I'm thinking about using "Riverdale" in there someplace because it does not appear that this is a trademark. Anyone have some suggestions?

Maybe if you mentioned the red haired freckle-faced teen guy named A.Andrews from Riverdale? That is strange trying to describe it without naming what it is. Also his always-hungry best pal who wears a crown, and his constant 2 best girlfriends, one blonde ponytail'ed and the other rich, spoiled and brunette!

Yeah, it's difficult to describe it without sounding cheesy or actually using a character name. I'll play around with those ideas and see what I can come up with.
