  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

Jughead has a niece 10 years older than he is?

But, then again, my aunt is 2 years younger than my older sister...

I'm confused. :D

Another classic Archie knockoff from several years ago:

King - a rock star who changed his name to some un-pronounceable symbol and hates being called King. People now refer to him as "The Rock Star Formerly Known as King".

In addition to the Jones family:
Saranda Yates Jones-Jughead's neice(I think she's 26 years old)
Summer Jones-Jughead's late sister-in-law
Mike Jones-Jughead's late older brother

I'm not sure when the last two were shown if they were ever shown.  Saranda, though, was shown and still lives in Riverdale on the North side.

I had no idea that they existed.
If life is just a stage, let's put on the best show

Well,  Mike and Summer were the ones who had Saranda.  They died shortly after her birth.  She went to Riverdale High nine years before Archie, so that's how I got the notion she was 26. Oh,  Jughead's age ranges from 16-17 so she's 9-10 years older.

It's very rare that death is mentioned in the Archie books. Where did this story appear, ronnie343? I'd love to read it...

Two NEW characters now haunt the Archie pages!

One is Wendy Weatherbee, the beauty and terror of the school hallways!

And another one is Regina Mantle, the beauty and terror of the neighborhood! ;D

One is a niece to Mr. Weatherbee, who is not too popular with the boys and the other is a prank-playing cousin to old Reggie.

Guess which is which?;)

Let's start a push to give Wendy Weatherbee her own book! I've already got a suggestion as to who should write and draw it!

Read my action-packed adventure anthology EPICS! Coming soon:

Speaking of death, was the death of Lydia done in the Betty's Diary series? Has it been reprinted recently? Would like to read that one as well. I only hear about it but I've never read it.

Wendy could have her own adventures featuring secondary/minor Archie characters like Jinx, Ambrose, Fangs (thanks to whoever posted their pics as teen-agers, that really made me smile), Frankie, Jason, etc.

Anyone know when Sue Stringley appeared as a teen-ager?

Adding to the list, what about Aerobic Liz and Crystal, the new age girl? Was Crystal removed because of controversy?
