  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

Changes you would make to an Archie Character
« on: June 23, 2011, 07:15:21 PM »
Been reading Bingo Wilkin's stories in Jughead's Double Digest and...well, I don't know if he's totally Archie, but he is a tad touchy. So I got to thinking, since he's Jughead's cousin why not make him kinda weird or odd. I was thinking along the lines of him just always looking around while someone is talking or a situation is happening and that characteristic getting characters like Sampson angry with him.

Thoughts? Others?

I only have one change I'd make.

I'd give Betty more backbone.

Why? I think she stands up for herself...well, eventually. :)

Yeah, I'd give Betty more backbone, and I wouldn't make her so obsessive over Archie and jealous of other girls. I'd also lessen her goody-goodyness.

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.

The amount of Archie related paraphanlia in her room does get creepy after a while.  I suspect there may be a shrine to him in her closet.  lol

Betty? You should surgically shove that spine into Archie!  :2funny:
I think that artist Norm Breyfogle has shown remarkable restraint by not having Mr. Lodge twirl his mustache in every panel as the character's evil traits become more and more defined.-Chris Cummins http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/04/the_10_craziest_moments_from_life_with_archie_the.php

If I took a shot at writing an Archie movie, would anyone mind?

I would give Archie more backbone so he can stand up to Veronica sometimes.

I only have one change I'd make.

I'd give Betty more backbone.

No, bigger nay-nays.

It would explain why she was able to compete with rich, sultry Veronica.

Also, I'd make Sabrina a notably downpowered, modern Wiccan.

Is nay nays the same as ta ta's?  :2funny: Anyway I would make
Betty exploit her beauty more. When do you ever see brunettes have more fun then blonde. She is almost a stalker when it comes to Archie. She needs to move on. Riverdale is full of hot guys.

I agree. Archie is too girl crazy to stand up to either Betty or Veronica and Jughead totally takes advantage of his food-money.  ;D
