  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

No, he was thinking of what the last ingredient could be and was having accidents that Reggie and Archie thought might have been Gaston. Jughead believed it was because he was thinking about it too hard...and after a few more Jughead just ran back to The Lodge Estate and guessed BubbleGum just to be done with it all. :)

Heh. The Double Digest also had a robot builder/combat club thing too as a high school program. Only in Riverdale. :)

Jughead is more of an artist, although he is a great cook ( plenty of stories there ) and many future stories portray him as an owner of a restaurant or chain of shops, all of that requires a lot of work. Something which is against his nature.

If you ask me, I would say Strategy Consultant or Strategist. It's not that these people do nothing all day but their job only involves thinking. Keep thinking and come up with far out ideas. You have to think out of the box, propose solutions, hand them to the client and walk away.

Jughead would love that. Plus, they are paid like hell.

I agree with you. That's why i suggested psychologist/therapist. He would just sit around and listen to ppl and get paid for it :) As it has been shown, Jug silently observes all the drama going on in his friends' lives, seems to know more about them than they do, and when things get tangled up, he gives great advice.

There's one problem with becoming a psychologist/therapist. Your client can screw up your life if you make even the tiniest of slip-ups.

One big reason I didn't opt for medicine.

i think Jughead would be that kind who just sit and make the patient do all the work  ;D. He can hardly goof up at that. And when someone really needs help, well, Jug is very good at clearing up messes as he has proven on numerous occasions; he does it with his eyes closed  :2funny:

Jughead would do great maybe as a...SalesMan for Electric Appliances. He hangs around all day at home just eating , watching TV , So he should be familiar with the electric appliances . Besides , He has a Gift of Gab . And their salaries , could be quite high if they do well . Sooo , I would say He would do well as an Electric Appliances Salesman.

There was one story where Jughead and Reggie take part time jobs as door to door salesmen. Reggie is a pro at it (bcoz of his gift of gab , as u put it :D ) and teaches Jug his technique, but when Jug tries it, it backfires on him...

There's one comic where some lady (gosh, I don't know her name, still so new to this) at the high school was asking him what he wanted to be when he grew up and every time he tried to imagine it, he would end up getting sidetracked on food. (spoiler warning) He imagined himself doing surgery on pizza, and saving a turkey from a burning building.

I think it's kind of a given that no matter what Jughead turns out in adulthood, it'll have something to do with food. I've had trouble trying to imagine him as an adult, though. I mean he's not into girls, so how would he ever get married? And in the comic, the lady suggested that he work in the food industry, but he replied: "A cook prepares food for someone ELSE to eat." and "Waiters serve food for OTHERS to eat." So I dunno.

I could see Jughead becoming the Home Ec teacher at Riverdale High, assuming the role of cooking instructor. He would select the entrees and treats that the students prepare, then spend each period "grading" the results.  His summers would still be free to loaf in a hammock.
