Does anyone remember that series of Betty stories from the mid 90s in which she got a job working in a wacky newspaper office, and had a new love interest named Dex?  Even Veronica got interested in Dex and Archie got jealous.  Did that plot-line just... fade away?  There were a lot of such strange things going on in the Archieverse around the same time.

There'd be so many, it'd be hard to know where to start.

Another thing going on at around the same time was a short-lived obsession with using the word "whimsical" in reference to Veronica (who was called "The Whimsical Rich Girl" or something).  That started getting old fast.

Mine, too!  I guess that's why its overuse annoyed me so much!
