  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

  • Biollante: Joe Quesada was drawing Thor on some Disney promo, and he drew him flying with his hammer on his side, now I'm not a Thor junkie, but isn't that actualy inaccurate, doesn't he fly by being dragged by his hammer???

  • Biollante: gonna be hard for anyting to catch up, Ridley Scott is pretty much the top of dark visual design imo, and he drew a lot from Moebius for that film, most fillm makers are not really connected to aestheticas of good fantasy film making in the same way

I don't think there is anything wrong with kids getting on here, and there shouldn't be. This site is a Archie Comics forum! Yes I'm new, and Yes I'm young...All I'm saying is as long as kids that get on here aren't acting immature and neither are the adults, then this should stay a safe and fun place for everyone  :)

It boils down to this: Any "kid" despite age, who is smart enough to know to NOT give out personal info such as home addresses, full names, school names, etc, should be allowed to cruise the internet. But ultimately this decision should be made by their parents, and if Mom or Dad are SCARED of the internet,  as a lot of parents are, then they should just not allow their kid to ge involved with it. When said KID is 18, he/she can do whatever they wish.

Well, I'm 13 and I don't talk to random people on the internet. On here I may talk to people I don't know all that well, but I'm only talking about archie comics. I'm probably not gonna ask someone their age unless they ask mine. I may not be an adult, but I'm not a little kid. Yes to some I am, but I'm wouldn't come on here and act like a little kid. Maybe he or she got scared because her parents had told her not to talk to people older than her on the net.
Just thought I'd share that so no one thinks they can't talk to me cause I'm 13.
But remember, I'm on here to talk about archie comics  :)
I agree. Even though I'm 15 and do take part in some mature conversations, I'm careful not wander into anything inappropriate for my age and watch my language (it's a family thing). If I were twelve, it would have been a different story.

And hey, I am short. But I sometimes sound like I'm 17. Don't be fooled though.

And when it comes to the younger kids, I welcome them. I just hope they would approach some topics with caution.
When it comes to food Archie Comics, I'm an expert.

Great, to make me feel like an even nastier, older, and uglier wacko than I really am. ::)

Well...as long as the kid doesn't grow up being wary of everyone close by, spouse included.

...I guess , especially with protection/self-defense in mind , whenever an apparent child is on-line , you should just say , up-front , " I am an older person " .

(He/she came back, needless to say.)
