I don't know, maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any.  O__O  If there aren't any, I'm fine with that.  I definitely prefer forms that aren't over-moderated.  I'm just kind of curious to what the rules would be if they exist.

I don't think an official FAQ's exists.  The only rules I'm aware of that we all generally abide by are no swearing, no personal attacks, and no selling non-Archie merchandise.  Course, that doesn't stop spammers.

There are no official rules really. I've never posted any because I've never had a need to do so - everyone here knows how to behave

I was told not to bite people anymore - which I thought was odd, because I was only biting people that deserved it.

The problem with rules telling people what they can't do is that it creates an implication that anything not on the list is something they can do.  Then, you have to make the list bigger to accommodate the things that you forgot on the first list.  Then, people argue that the list is too restrictive.... belch.

I'll second that.  I've always thought benevolent dictatorship is the ideal form of government

I seriously doubt that would happen though.  I mean this is a pretty small laid back forum with reasonable people.  I could see that being a problem with bigger forums though that attract more crazies (which I really can't stand anymore).

A little clarity would be nice, but I'm fine with no rules though.  It's just strange.  I think this is the first forum I've seen without specific rules.  But if it woks, it works.  lol

Actually, the DC boards never had any rules either for the longest time.  That is a pretty wide open public forum.   I don't think we need a list of rules and personally, I would never read them anyway.  Does anyone go to a forum wondering what the rules are?
