  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

Yup, those are JUST the sort of poses I can imagine an Archie artist needing. ;-)

But I like your site.

Well... that first pose could easily be Moose & Reggie, then someone holding Jug back from a buffet, another Moose & hapless victim pose... Perhaps a stylist of Veronica's wielding a hair dryer, and . . . okay, on the last one, I've got nothin'. :)

Well, that last one looks just like the Punisher's pose in the promo art for "Archie Meets The Punisher".  I never read that, though; it didn't seem very Archie-like.

The last one could be featured as a picture where Archie goes w/ Betty or Veronica to a fair and tries to win a prize...?

Or maybe Betty with a welding gun or riveting tool.  She can do anything, don't you know?

darkmark - Betty does seem similar to Rosie the Riveter sometimes!

Have paintball guns ever been shown in Archie comics? That might be a story where the last photo reference could be used.

Hmm I think I take a turn:

The first picture of the second set could be Veronica/Betty dragging Archie away from Betty/Veronica....or maybe Archie dragging Jughead from food cause they have something to do
Archie Comics are my WHOLE life

Archie Comics = 781
Archie Digests= 370

They're great, ESAUL. I especially like trying to figure out scenarios they'd be workable with.

1. Moose & Reggie, or Jughead's dad pulling Jug, or Mr. Lodge/Smither's evicting Archie
2. Playing a really low game of pool/billiards or vacuuming under some furniture.
3. Starting a lawnmower, roller skating (race?), one of the girls shopping and elbowing other customers out of the way.
