  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

Favorite Foods?
« on: November 27, 2011, 01:44:58 AM »
Don't know if this was done before, but the search isn't working.

Anyways, for me, my favorites:

Hot and Sour Soup  (This soup is like an experience.  Also probably great for your skin
since it really opens your pores).
Chile Relenos  (Gooey, cheesy, tomatoey heaven.)

There's more of course, but those are straight at the top, so I'll stop there.  If you haven't had these before, you are really missing out, imo.  lol

Favorite drinks:

Blue Moon Belgian White
Diet Dr. Pepper

Almost made this thread again, but I forgot I had already made it.  Had to find it with Google since the search isn't working.

To this I will add that my favorite fruit is the cherry.  Black cherries go great in ice cream.  Also while I listed chile relenos as my favorite, I could probably eat nearly anything from an authentic Mexican restaurant.  Its my ultimate comfort food.

I love all food.  Except cheese.   ;D  (I do like cheeseburgers, lasagna, and pizza, though.)
I have so many Archies, I've lost count!  :D

Well, my favorite types of cuisine are Mexican and Italian.  I'm also partial to steaks, hamburgers and barbecue.  As for beverages, I love root beer(preferably IBC) and Hawaiian Punch.  My favorite desserts are apple pie, mint chocolate chip ice cream (the best is from Baskin-Robbins-I've been addicted to it since I was 5) and custard.

I would say that almost 80% of my dinners have some form of chicken involved in them.  I'm trying to cut back on my red meat consumption, and I really enjoy chicken.

I also am a fan of fish.  Salmon, Cod, Ocean Perch, you know, things like that.  I haven't ventured into other seafoods yet.  Never tried lobster or crab, but I would be more open to trying that than say, calamari or octopus.

Pepperoni pizza is another treat I indulge in once every two weeks or so.  I live near a pizza place, so I haven't got far to travel, and save money in the process by not having it delivered.

I'm also a known choco-holic.  Particularly if the chocolate is mixed with mint or peanut butter.

As for drinks, I admit that I do drink Diet Dr. Pepper more times than I should.  But, I'm also a fan of fruit juices and Black Cherry soda.

Lobster and crab are probably the two highest quality meats there are I think.  Definitely worth trying.  Calamari and octopus are good, but are more chewy and less tender.  Not as disgusting as it sounds, but you may want to order those from an Italian restaurant.

Oh and I forgot.  Bleu cheese is another favorite of mine.  Love the strong flavor.  Goes great on salad and pretty much anything else.

I grew up spending most of my time in my Grandmother's kitchen, so I like a lot of southern foods.

Favorite vegetables: Collard greens, broccoli, brussel sprouts, green beans, rootabagas, peas, blackbeans, black-eyed peas, cabbage, and turnips.
Favorite meat: Catfish, tuna, sardines, anchovies, chicken, ham, bacon, sausage, liver and onions, lobster, shrimp, and clams. I'm not really much of a beef fan.

Favorite fruit(s): Pears and dates. Hands down.

I also love yogurt, eggs, cheese (not Kraft, my favorite is the three-year aged cheese or Cracker Barrel Vermont White), and nuts.

My favorite ice cream: Chocolate chip cookie dough. I can't get enough of the stuff.
Favorite breakfast: Pancakes. waffles, oatmeal, and grits.
Favorite drink: Black vanilla tea.

This is also my favorite.  Don't have it that often though.

In general I enjoy Mexican, Chinese, Vietnamese, seafood, sandwiches, and salads. My single most favorite food would be baked macaroni & cheese with the crust slightly burned and served with stewed tomatoes on the side.  Favorite drink would be diet Dr. Pepper or Diet Coke.

Fave condiment would be Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce with honorable mentions given to Beano Horseradish Sauce and Grey Poupon Mustard.

All I can say is pizza is one of the best inventions of the human race...and if bubble gum counts as food, that rocks, too.  :D Oh yeah and my favorite drink is root beer, mountain dew and sierra mist all mixed together. BEST soda you'll ever have in your LIFE.
