  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

I actually bought two video games myself from EB Games.  "Kingdom Hearts" and "Final Fantasy XII".  And, while I didn't think I'd enjoy it so much, that "Kingdom Hearts" game is so addictive!

PS2, eh?

I recently tried Final Fantasy III on the DS, but I was no match for it... far too difficult for a FF amateur for me. Might give Children of Mana a try next.

FF3 is actually one of the only Final Fantasy games I HAVEN'T played. (The other one being FF8)

I recently got:

I Love You, Beth Cooper (hardcover) - $20

Mobile Suit Gundam: Ecole Du Ciel, Volume 8 (manga, last in the series, I think) - $10

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (uncut) - $8

Josie and the Pussycats ("family-friendly" PG version) - $5

Just around an hour ago, at the flea market, I got a lot of stuff:

Final Fantaxy X (PS2) - $8

Transformers: Beginnings (seemingly a prequel to the new movie; maybe it's what was packaged in the Wal-Mart-exclusive 2-pack?) - $3

Superman Returns (single-disc edition) - $3

NES Max controller - $5

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.

I'm buying a 7 cubic sq. ft freezer tomorrow... does that count???  :2funny:

Since they're aren't any good DS games coming out this month, I picked up a few old GBA games:

Castlevania: Circle Of The Moon
Final Fantasy I and II: Dawn Of Souls
Final Fantasy V
Golden Sun 1 and 2

I also have another purchase that's only temporary... I booked a 2009 Smart Fortwo for the upcoming long weekend. Car's barely bigger than Gregg's new freezer. :P

That's funny, Jeff. I'm trying to imagine a car that small that doesn't require you to use your feet as a motor...  ;D

So i'm out hitting thrift stores yesterday and I find a bag of 53 digests!!! All for a quarter a pop as well. Only a few dupes, several of the earlier years of digests as well, most were in vg condition or better. $15 for the bag! I'm in 7th heaven. Already added them to my comic counts and will be scanning and adding about 30 new covers to the GCD in the next day or two. Life is good!

Whew! I get WAY too many comics each week to list.  I'm addicted.

BUT!  I found a local bookshop with about 500 Archie Digests!  I picked-up 14 of them.  More trips needed.
No matter where I go, there I am.  Creepy.
