  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)
    May 21, 2012, 07:23:13 AM
  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

Recap of E3 video game expo by the Angry Video Game Nerd
« on: July 19, 2008, 11:03:31 AM »
James Rolfe, the Angry Video Game Nerd, posted his thoughts on the recent E3 show (which he attended). He previews upcoming games:

Mega Man 9
Street Fighter IV
Mortal Kombat VS. DC Universe
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Castlevania: Judgement

There's also a mention of a musical performance at the end that I think Zach will enjoy.

Ah, The Who... Without them, hard rock bands (and thus, heavy metal) won't be around...

I really prefer Guitar Hero over Rock Band, but then again, playing the real thing is much better. Legendary guitar shredder Steve Vai can vouch for that.
Zach uses:

Guitars: Washburn WV16 (shown in display pic), Cort X6, Godin BG5 5-string bass, Squire P-Bass, Squire P-Bass Special

Equipment: Ashdown Engineering, Marshall, Smokey Amplification, EMG, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, BOSS, EHX, Digitech, Ibanez, Jim Dunlop, Ernie Ball Strings

Jughead's Pseudo World Tour (rated T+) (Pt.7 posted 20-12-08)

A situation like this should never exist - then why are we out of control?

Okay, that Lego Batman was *AWESOME*... I still feel bad that I had to miss the end of it last night. :( I'm *really* looking forward to that game, and EA's Spore game as well, none of the games that he covered are games I don't know that I'd really play.

I actually laughed a few times at his MegaMan review and the fighting DC character game seems like it might be interesting to see in action... but, c'mon, fighting Superman? That's just crazy talk!! :)

You'd probably enjoy his actual, full-length reviews, Aya. :)

I'm upset that Supergirl doesn't (appear) to be in there. C'mon, Supergirl versus Sonya Blade. I was really looking forward to a Battle of the Blondes. :P

Sorry! The end of the latest Batman... I had to leave before the movie was over last night, 'cause I had my worst headache ever. It was not a fun walk back to the car since I had to traverse 2 people-movers and an escalator. >_<, It was SUCH a good movie 'til I had to leave too...

Is she, Supergirl, just considered too minor a character or do you think it was a matter of numbers? Maybe she'll pop into some fights as an assist.

Cool. I'm gonna see it next week.

Gonna go to re-see it?

I dunno. Catwoman's in there. Her title just recently got the axe. Supergirl's is still going.

Definitely! I think I felt worse about having to leave so near the end. By the time I made it to the top level o' "Jurassic Parking", my headache was all but gone, so it was almost like insult to injury! I guess I shouldn't mind too much, like I said, it was pretty good what I'd seen so far, and I was likely going to see it again, whether I'd had to leave prematurely or not.

Well, he's got a few funny moments, but, it's hard to really be too terribly interested in some of the game reviews since I'm not too familiar with the games beyond knowing the names... I'll be sure to check out the newer ones. Thanks again! :)

Well, I guess it could be looked at from the "Who's Been In A Movie Recently" point of view, but, that wouldn't work out too well, perhaps it was just to balance out the characters (good/bad) or Superman/Batman ratios?

Maybe the latter, because Catwoman's a hero.
