  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

Yeah, I remember Miss Bliss.  I'm also a huge Hayley Mills fan.

In fact, if there were an Archie movie, don't you think Hayley could play a great Ms. Grundy?

No! She's so cute! Ms. Grundy is quite spinster-looking. I actually bought a VHS tape, recently, just because it starred Hayley Mills. I'd never heard of it before, "The Moon-Spinners", but, it was back when she was still quite young and when Disney was in the habit of releasing tons of live-action movies. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058371/

I think it's odd that Lark Voorhies isn't doing as much acting, and Tori Spelling still is. I'm not really a Tori Spelling fan (in case that wasn't obvious already:)).

Wasn't "Tori", a triplet? Not the character, but the actress?

Yes.

"Leanna Creel (born August 27, 1970 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress and film producer. She played Tori Scott on several episodes of Saved by the Bell. She is a triplet, and starred with her sisters Monica and Joy in two TV movies aired on The Wonderful World of Disney: Parent Trap III and Parent Trap (IV): Hawaiian Honeymoon. Creel was also in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210, alongside Monica. Leanna's sister Joy is married to comics illustrator Rob Liefeld."

So we have learned here that "Saved By the Bell", "Beverly Hills, 90210", and the Parent Trap movies all share various cosmic connections with each other. :P

I was just going by the whole Hayley Brit-accented voice.  Oddly enough, it's how I picture Ms. Grundy sounding...it's why I came up with her.  But, yeah...Hayley's too cute.  Maybe they could get her sister Juliet then?  She played a witch on Passions, did she not?  LOL!

And, Disney does release live-action movies...only with Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. :insert eye roll:

Me neither.  I only watched 90210 for Jennie Garth. ;D

I had always wondered why there were episodes from 1992, when the graduation episode was taped in 1991. :p

I think you mean 1993 and 1992, respectively.

"Leanna Creel ... starred with her sisters Monica and Joy in two TV movies aired on The Wonderful World of Disney: Parent Trap III and Parent Trap (IV): Hawaiian Honeymoon.

I didn't even know such movies existed! Disney needs to realize that sometimes it's not a good idea to release as many re-makes and sequels as they do. Tsk, tsk.

I'm not familiar with her sister, Juliet, but, I can easily imagine Ms. Grundy with an accent - sort of a Professor McGonagal type from the Harry Potter movies. When I think of the Disney live-action movies I think of movies like, That Darn Cat, and Swiss Family Robinson, The Shaggy Dog, Escape to Witch Mountain, and The Ugly Dachshund (apologies if there a few in there that aren't necessarily Disney movies).

Nope.  The end credit of the graduation episode said Copyright MCMXCI, which is the roman numeral for 1991.

The episode may have aired in 1993, but was taped in 1991.  Odd, no?
