  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

Nothing special. Just the stuff that I do all year: work at Kmart, play video games, surf the Internet, read Archies, watch anime, etc.

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.

more. Oh btw the dolphin painted that picture! It was really cool, my daughter held up the paper, and the dolphin had a squeeze paint bottle in its mouth, and twirled around, to paint it.

Mostly worked, tragically enough.

The weather here in Ontario has been dismal this summer.  We actually broke a record for most rainfall since I believe 1888!

Not exactly summer here in Singapore as the year-long season is more or less tropical monsoon, and it's also the wrong time to be summer Down Under too.

More or less worked, preparing my camp for the Occupational Health And Safety Assessment Series audit (which we passed very soundly but nearly failed due to one person from my camp), and actually ensured that a rehearsal session for Singapore's National Day parade could actually take place (on office duty on the first, woke up at around 7 on the second to get a call from the guardhouse regarding some Specialists getting one of the ceremonial land rovers, and making lots of phone calls to ensure that said Specialists could actually take that particular land rover).
Zach uses:

Guitars: Washburn WV16 (shown in display pic), Cort X6, Godin BG5 5-string bass, Squire P-Bass, Squire P-Bass Special

Equipment: Ashdown Engineering, Marshall, Smokey Amplification, EMG, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, BOSS, EHX, Digitech, Ibanez, Jim Dunlop, Ernie Ball Strings

Jughead's Pseudo World Tour (rated T+) (Pt.7 posted 20-12-08)

A situation like this should never exist - then why are we out of control?

Cousins came over from overseas (hadnt seen them in maybe 8 years), then all of us went to New Mexico to see some other cousins. I saw Journey to the Center of the Earth, Wanted, Dark Knight, and Mummy 3, and I started Driver's Ed. Overall this summer's been pretty enjoyable

Summer? Oh! That time of year when I work just as hard and as much as I do in the Winter...but it's just a heck of a lot hotter. And I live in the freakin' desert! Vacation? That is something that OTHER people take in the Summertime. My wife and I have been married over 20 years now, and we have never had one single friggin' vacation....with gas prices the way they are now, we don't even go to the grocery store on the weekends anymore, I get what we need on my way home after work. But we have experience a LOT of very HOT Summers.

That's great that you look forward to seeing your family...at my house a visit from my in-laws is like the end of the world, and my wife is depressed for a week after they leave.

WOW! Real People who take vacations! That's great! I'll bet your daughter loved playing with the Dolphin. An experience she'll never forget. And neither will the dophin...especially when she smacked him on the nose with the herring.

Pretty typical summer for me: bike rides along the Rideau Canal (although not as often as last year due to all the rain), video games and movies during rainy days, and work (I work in IT, and computers don't take summer vacations).

But I'm happy my girlfriend and I managed to squeeze in a 10-day, 4000km road trip in July. Getting away from it all was refreshing and well worth it, despite spending over $400 in gas. 10 days of not worrying about anything is really nice.

I've been working - training folks on how to use computers, build databases, collaborate and generate exciting things like digital dashboards with KPI's and trend analysis graphs!  ooooo!

I'm going back "home" to Vancouver Island in a couple of weeks and will do some Geocaching, hopefully some SCUBA diving, some astronomy, and a lot of mountian bike riding.  All while trying to visit with family and keep my wife and kids entertained.  .... hmmm... does that count as a vacation?
No matter where I go, there I am.  Creepy.
