  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

  • Biollante: Joe Quesada was drawing Thor on some Disney promo, and he drew him flying with his hammer on his side, now I'm not a Thor junkie, but isn't that actualy inaccurate, doesn't he fly by being dragged by his hammer???

Nothing special. Just the stuff that I do all year: work at Kmart, play video games, surf the Internet, read Archies, watch anime, etc.

Mostly worked, tragically enough.

The weather here in Ontario has been dismal this summer.  We actually broke a record for most rainfall since I believe 1888!

Man,
Send some of that rain down to me! We'd love it!

I wish I could!  Oddly enough, today was gorgeous outside...and naturally, I was stuck inside a store working.  Blaugh. :p

Today started off gorgeous here too... hot, sunny, not a cloud in sight. So I hopped on my bike, and when I was about 20km from home, it suddenly got cloudy and it absolutely poured. Then it stopped minutes after I arrived home.
Oh well, it wasn't so bad... aside from my brakes not working when they're wet (yee haw).

Jeff - that just makes it that much more interesting, plus, I'm sure it would be quite an honor to be known as, "That guy who went careening down the street today, screaming something about 'snakes' or 'lakes' or 'brakes'... either way, it was pretty funny!". :)

And that includes successful cartooning.
