  • CAPalace: Some April Fools jokes on websites are funny. Rick Rolling is a bit lazy imo, but it is a classic. xD I also feel bad for Europeans and other non-Americans who don't understand April Fools Day and get horribly confused by the stuff that goes on.

  • DeCarlo Rules: Oh, I thought he was going to try to tell me that Rick Astley looks just like Archie or somesuch nonsense. Good to know Zach doesn't have anything worth saying, so he wastes our time with idiocy like this.

  • Magic Necromancer: i don't know why B-KO even hangs around here anymore if all he does is say archie comics sucks now and that the reboot won't even last a year

  • Magic Necromancer: Decarlo: It's an infamous prank people love to play against each other on the internet...it's called Rickrolling

  • DeCarlo Rules: @Zach -- but what does that 1980s music video have to do with Archie Comics? I thought maybe there was an Archie Comics cameo snuck in there someplace, but if there was, I missed it.

  • Magic Necromancer: @DecarloRules  no it's $46 dollars worth of comics in general....the only archie comics i regularly read are the sonic books

  • DeCarlo Rules: @ Magic Necromancer -- Wait, did you mean $46 dollars worth of ARCHIE Comics? Then that IS a lot for a month... especially if you're young and don't have a job.

  • Magic Necromancer: true it's not much compared to some big time comic lists but i try to reduce the cost so my dad doesn't lecture me about spending too much dough on comics

  • DeCarlo Rules: $46 is not that much.  I work a part-time job 18-20 hours/week, JUST to pay for my comics... of course that includes some high-priced hardcovers almost every week.

Holy COW!  :o

EDIT: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-15810525

The series, about a dysfunctional Californian family, was cancelled by the Fox network five years ago despite winning several Emmy awards.

Last month, creator Mitchell Hurwitz said a film was to be made with several spin-off episodes to follow.

The cast, featuring Jason Bateman and Michael Cera, is expected to reunite.

The show was originally broadcast on Fox between 2003-06 but was dropped because of low ratings.

The antics of the morally challenged Bluth family picked up six Emmy awards and one Golden Globe over its three seasons.

Executive producer, film director Ron Howard, also narrated the series.

Speaking to the BBC in January, he said there was "a real desire on the creative team's part" to work on some new material.

Shooting on the new series is set to begin next summer and will be available to Netflix subscribers in 2013.

I'll be honest, I never really saw the show, but someone me the first season for Christmas and of course heard of it. Should I start watching it? And not to just catch up, but start WATCHING it?
I think that artist Norm Breyfogle has shown remarkable restraint by not having Mr. Lodge twirl his mustache in every panel as the character's evil traits become more and more defined.-Chris Cummins http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/04/the_10_craziest_moments_from_life_with_archie_the.php

If I took a shot at writing an Archie movie, would anyone mind?
Only 12 credits to go before I can purchase a sticky post.

I wouldn't really put too much stock in something that is going to be only airing on Netlfix.  That company is on the decline now due to the actions of it's moronic CEO.  I suppose it's good for the show's fans though.
