  • PTF: Wait. That isn't so bad, Jon. I mean, RotG should have won animated movie of the year. Well, it or Wreck-It-Ralph. Brave just proves even Pixar can make mistakes. :)

  • JonInIowaCity: Apparently at least 2 movie theaters aired "Rise of the Guardians" cartoon instead of "Guardians of the Galaxy!" Their audiences were predictably upset last night! :)

  • Tuxedo Mark: I contacted TFAW and got a response. The #36s should have arrived by now, and they're all out of stock on those issues, so they're giving me a refund. The #37s were sent out via a different method, so they're going to give that more time. So...does anyone know where I can buy the Fiona Staples and Mike Allred variants of #36?

  • Archie Comics Collector: @Tuxedo Mark-Seems like a very long time for the issues to arrive. What is your normal wait time to receive items from TFAW. I would contact TFAW on Monday if you do not get the issues. For them to have you wait longer is ridiculous. It's not even the holiday season. Mail just can't be that slow at this time of the year.

  • Tuxedo Mark: Hmmm. I received an e-mail for each package, saying they had been sent out. In the case of the two #36s, it says they departed the shipping facility in Auburn, WA, on the morning of the 17th, and then nothing since then. There's no tracking at all for the #37s. Both e-mails say it should take 7-14 business days, and they'd have to wait an extra full week after that before declaring any package as lost.

  • Archie Comics Collector: @Tuxedo Mark:  BettyReggie mentioned that TFAW had some shipping issues recently. You need to call so they can fix the issue. You should have already received the issues.

  • Tuxedo Mark: I had preorders LWA #36-37 (two variant covers each plus the collected edition) from TFAW quite a while ago, but none of them have arrived yet. Should I contact them or give it a bit more time?

Holy COW!  :o

EDIT: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-15810525

The series, about a dysfunctional Californian family, was cancelled by the Fox network five years ago despite winning several Emmy awards.

Last month, creator Mitchell Hurwitz said a film was to be made with several spin-off episodes to follow.

The cast, featuring Jason Bateman and Michael Cera, is expected to reunite.

The show was originally broadcast on Fox between 2003-06 but was dropped because of low ratings.

The antics of the morally challenged Bluth family picked up six Emmy awards and one Golden Globe over its three seasons.

Executive producer, film director Ron Howard, also narrated the series.

Speaking to the BBC in January, he said there was "a real desire on the creative team's part" to work on some new material.

Shooting on the new series is set to begin next summer and will be available to Netflix subscribers in 2013.

I'll be honest, I never really saw the show, but someone me the first season for Christmas and of course heard of it. Should I start watching it? And not to just catch up, but start WATCHING it?
I think that artist Norm Breyfogle has shown remarkable restraint by not having Mr. Lodge twirl his mustache in every panel as the character's evil traits become more and more defined.-Chris Cummins http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/04/the_10_craziest_moments_from_life_with_archie_the.php

If I took a shot at writing an Archie movie, would anyone mind?
Only 12 credits to go before I can purchase a sticky post.

I wouldn't really put too much stock in something that is going to be only airing on Netlfix.  That company is on the decline now due to the actions of it's moronic CEO.  I suppose it's good for the show's fans though.
