  • JugheadJonesIII: I've contacted them multiple times, dozens in fact, they say the same thing...  Well tell our shipping and subscription dept. about this, so sorry.  Well, after several months, I call them again, and they say the same thing!  So fed up! *Hulk smash*

  • BettyReggie: I'm still waiting for Archie #2 but they said write them back if I don't get it by the 8th.

  • Archie Comics Collector: @irishmoxie-If the outside of Archie #2 came in rough shape then its an issue with the post office not Archie that caused the problem but Archie will replace.  Also digests do not come months late. I subscribe to everything Archie produces and Digests have not been months late but weeks late.

  • spazaru: I think y'all are just really unlucky on the digest thing.  If they don't answer and e-mail, call them.  I've been subscribing to digests for years and have had like 3 come late and those were replaced immediately.

  • irishmoxie: Surprisingly my Archie #1 came in good shape, it was packed with a cardboard back and came on the release date. But the Archie #2 was in rough shape and about 3 weeks late. They must've changed printers/distributors.

  • irishmoxie: It's probably fine to get digests from them if you don't mind if they are months late. But for floppies...As a collector/fan, usually we like to read things on release day and in pristine condition.

  • irishmoxie: I've sent them emails which they don't always answer. The company has been in business for so long. It's a shame their customer service and packaging is so terrible. Now I understand why people have pull lists at their local comic stores even though the idea of one sounds a bit archaic!

  • BettyReggie: I didn't bother getting the Sabrina issue even though I donated to their campaign, I'm not a fan of her.

  • PixyJunket: I was about to eMail them, thanks for the address, I guess I could ask why I never got my Kickstarter backer freebie too (although I already have three versions of Sabrina #1).

  • spazaru: Y'all need to contact Archie at orderhelp@archiecomics.com.  I've had no big problems with the digest subscriptions, but on the rare occasion one doesn't show up, I just e-mail and they send me another one first class mail.

  • PixyJunket: Digests? I subbed to B&V Friends and World of Archie months ago, I am getting B&V fine but have gotten zero World of Archie.

  • BettyReggie: I was listening to The Ramones on my Access A Ride before to get ready for Archie Meets The Ramones.

Arrested Development revived by US channel Netflix

Holy COW!  :o

EDIT: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-15810525

The series, about a dysfunctional Californian family, was cancelled by the Fox network five years ago despite winning several Emmy awards.

Last month, creator Mitchell Hurwitz said a film was to be made with several spin-off episodes to follow.

The cast, featuring Jason Bateman and Michael Cera, is expected to reunite.

The show was originally broadcast on Fox between 2003-06 but was dropped because of low ratings.

The antics of the morally challenged Bluth family picked up six Emmy awards and one Golden Globe over its three seasons.

Executive producer, film director Ron Howard, also narrated the series.

Speaking to the BBC in January, he said there was "a real desire on the creative team's part" to work on some new material.

Shooting on the new series is set to begin next summer and will be available to Netflix subscribers in 2013.

I'll be honest, I never really saw the show, but someone me the first season for Christmas and of course heard of it. Should I start watching it? And not to just catch up, but start WATCHING it?
I think that artist Norm Breyfogle has shown remarkable restraint by not having Mr. Lodge twirl his mustache in every panel as the character's evil traits become more and more defined.-Chris Cummins http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/04/the_10_craziest_moments_from_life_with_archie_the.php

If I took a shot at writing an Archie movie, would anyone mind?
Only 12 credits to go before I can purchase a sticky post.

I wouldn't really put too much stock in something that is going to be only airing on Netlfix.  That company is on the decline now due to the actions of it's moronic CEO.  I suppose it's good for the show's fans though.
