According to her girlfriend, my then-girlfriend started thinking she might be a lesbian sometime last year, simply because her friend said she had a crush on her. She said my ex-girlfriend simply had never considered the possibility that she was anything but heterosexual. I mean...seriously? 27 years, 4 of which were spent in a romantic relationship with me, and she never ONCE thought she might be a lesbian? And all that it took to get her thinking so was a girl saying she had a crush on her?

  • Tuxedo Mark: Surprise: Actually, I feel she's been thoughtless about my feelings for a while now. Both she and her girlfriend say she agonized over her decision to break up with me, because she didn't want to cause me pain. However, I feel she handled everything about it wrong. She didn't tell me that she's a lesbian until after she was already engaged to her new girlfriend. She didn't tell me that she and her friend were involved until I expressed interest in chatting with her last month. She didn't even tell me about the engagement at all. However, she did seem perfectly fine with announcing it on a Transformers forum . It's nice to know that an ex-fiance is a lower priority to her than a casual forum acquaintance.

ARCHIE COMICS' INTERNATIONAL MEGA-HIT
"THE ARCHIE WEDDING: ARCHIE IN WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
TO BE RELEASED AS GRAPHIC NOVEL

The number one comic for six months straight, "Archie: Will You Marry Me?" has continued the legacy it began last August when the announcement of Archie's proposal wowed major news and media outlets from The New York Times and CBS to BBC and PRI's The World, and made the front page of major newspapers across the globe. Archie Comics has finally surrendered to monstrous international demands and continuous public outcry by wedding the full marriage storyline and epilogue into one monumental graphic novel, "The Archie Wedding: Archie in Will You Marry Me?" that arrives March 10th.

A story that shocked the world, "The Archie Wedding: Archie in Will You Marry Me?" follows Archie's two most feverishly debated futures--married life with either the affluent Veronica or the kindhearted Betty. The upcoming trade paperback is packed with 168 thrilling pages of the historic and touching tale of two paths up Memory Lane and features all seven original covers including the epilogue. Readers everywhere will finally be able to experience the heart-string-tugging twists and turns of Archie's two possible futures in one all inclusive collection to share with family and friends.

"With the publication of the Archie marriage story arc, we were inundated with letters about parents and grandparents who grew up with Archie sharing these tales with their children and grandchildren," remarks writer Michael Uslan. "'The Archie Wedding: Archie in Will You Marry Me?" truly means something to the millions of people who share this story."

Archie fans the world over will continue to enjoy the ground-breaking narrative of "what will be" for Riverdale's legendary romance over and over again with the publication of the graphic novel. Mark your calendars for March 10th, that special day when "The Archie Wedding: Archie in Will You Marry Me?" hits stores--after all, Archie only gets married... Twice!

The graphic novel, "The Archie Wedding: Archie in Will You Marry Me?" will be available in stores March 10th.

Actually, at my local comic store, several people have come in that are not regular customers and specifically have asked for issues from the wedding storyline, and asked if there will be a trade collecting it.

My store usually gets zero Archie comics, but people have been getting this.

I'm guessing this is the best an Archie comic has done for a long time.

This is a good idea for those who may have missed a few issues along the way.  Despite what some people may say, this storyline has definitely been one of the most talked about ones in Archie's near seven decade history...even more so than the New Look stories, Love Showdown, Cheryl going topless on a beach... ;)

Yeah, I don't doubt that, but my point is Archie Comics is using that as an excuse for why it's being collected, since we all know it was gonna be collected anyway. :P

Betty's dress is CUTE! but a short dress would go better with a short veil.

And 'international' only needs to mean they've gotten requests from Canada, too.

If they wanted to keep Betty's hair up to maintain a visual difference from Veronica that'd hold in B&W, they could've just gone with an updo instead of the ponytail.

Why would they want to?

I wish Betty would dress up a bit in her wedding day. I know she's casual, but at least make her a bit elegant. She's not a teenager (during wedding stories). She's a grown up. Dress like a woman instead like a teen.

That wedding dress, I don't approve (but hey, what can i do?). If she wants to wear a short dress, make it like a hourglass below the knee. And the veil shorter, or no veil at all. She could wear her hair down instead a pony tail.

And still no beach wedding? :(

Veronica's dress, well I expect that from her. It suits her. Not a fan of her hair, but fine nonetheless.

Yeah, I mean, she's dressed up before - why not on her wedding day?  and I think the dress is adorable, not sure if it's wedding-ish though. Maybe if she did her hair nice it would look better. and I agree a short dress should have a short veil.

I guess I'm just picky, because I don't like short wedding dresses in general. I agree that while Betty has always been the casual, comfortable girl, I think she'd dress up a little for her own wedding   :-\ The casual dress and ponytail make it look like she isn't taking it seriously, or doesn't care much about it.
