  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

"The chicks don't dig these old heaps!"? A teenager in (presumably) the 1990s is saying this?

I am a firm believer that Bob Bolling's Little Archie stores can and should be set in the 50's or 60's, whenever Bolling would like them to be set. There's Mad Doctor Doom and Chester! These characters belong in the time they were set. The dialogue and visuals are perfect for their time period. It would be wrong to update them for the present.

all right all you Bolling fans-- I'll do it. I'll pick up this TPB and the first one and see if you can convert me to your ways of thinking.

remember, I'm not a little archie fan at all... do you think the two TPBs will change my mind on the concept??  ;D

If you like adventure, I think you'll enjoy these Bolling stories. They're less about the romance triangles that are so much a part of the Archie titles. Bolling stories have their own charm about them but it's also that they use the Archie characters in a different, but good way. Think about Pureheart and the Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E. - the same characters but a different take on them.

After you are hooked, I've still got a few Little Archie FCBD comics.

I think we have some left over volume one trades that Bob signed for us last spring at the store! We do ship, no extra charge for the autograph.

Contact max@coliseumofcomics.com he's the mail order guy.

:)

I have about 3 copies of the FCBD book and the Halloween giveaway. I Also have about 10 Little Archie Digests and another LA 10 comics. As far as I know, all the comics and digests are by Dexter Taylor, though.

I'll keep the offer in mind after I read the new TPB. Thanks, Forsythe!

(I still want to get some of your dupes too if they're still available...)
