Got it!

Archie is in college and finally decides he loves Betty - but, he can't afford to marry her.  He didn't do great in college and he sees years of financial strife ahead.

So.... he confesses this to Betty and they come up with a plan.   He will marry Veronica, then slowly drive her crazy with his clumsiness.  Veronica, once getting what she wants doesn't want it anymore - it's her thing.

She divorces Archie, and ends-up having to pay alimony, which Archie uses when he moves in with Betty and starts a family.

Simple....so simple....

That's a funny scenario, but seriously, I think it's way too depressing to think of the Archie characters undergoing a divorce...  If he does end up marrying both Betty and Veronica, it's got to be a fantasy sequence of some kind.

here's an idea.  archie imagines getting married to veronica and then imagines getting married to betty.  He realizes he needs to make a decision.  he finally does.  the last scene we see archie at the altar with a girl in a wedding dress.  BUT her face and hair are covered by the veil and we can't see who it is.  Archie winks at us like "I'm not telling who it is."  LOL.  i can so see that happening.

(and if you look closely into the watching crowd you see Veronica and Betty hugging each other and crying. lol, j/k.)

LOL!  thanks guys.  i thought it up when i got up this morning.  my best ideas are always when I wake up in the middle of the night for 5 minutes or when I just wake up for the day.

that's probably when I'm the most contemplative.  my brain just stops the rest of the day.

very interesting.  why are they getting married in the 2nd issue?  is it really going to be him imagining marrying one and then the other?  or are we going to see their married life? 

also, what's with the way reggie is standing.  it looks like he's grabbing for something?  flowers?  maybe he's picking them for betty. hahaha

and "surprise ending that will leave you speechless"?  interesting.
