  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

ARCHIE COMICS BRINGS "GLEE" TO LIFE WITH ARCHIE MAGAZINE
« on: September 20, 2010, 11:35:31 AM »
ARCHIE COMICS BRINGS "GLEE" TO LIFE WITH ARCHIE MAGAZINENew York, NY (September 20, 2010): Archie Comics' MEGA-HIT magazine LIFE WITH ARCHIE is gearing up to sing out with its very own Guide to "Glee" just in time for Fox's new season of the music and television phenomenon!

In the LIFE WITH ARCHIE #3: NOV 2010 issue arriving this October, the cast of Archie Comics comes together to share their thoughts on Glee, why they're fans and why you should join Archie, Betty, Veronica and the rest of the gang as a fellow "Gleek"! Archie and friends chat it up with LIFE WITH ARCHIE about their favorite performances, top pick for hottest Glee Clubbers, their soft spot for Sue Sylvester and more!

Plus, LIFE WITH ARCHIE has come together to give their definitive "Life with Archie Guide to Glee" just in case "you've been living under a rock for the past year (or so busy reading the Archie Wedding series that you've been ignoring the rest of the world)." If you're just getting in tune with the greatness of Glee you won't miss a beat once you read LIFE WITH ARCHIE's guide, which includes an in depth look at the greatest Glee cast members from goodie-goodies Finn and Mr. Schue to soft-hearted villains Puck and Sue Sylvester!

Everyone at Archie Comics is a huge fan of Glee, particularly Archie Comics Co-CEO Jon Goldwater, who got his own start in the music industry before arriving in his dream job back at Archie where he grew up.

"Archie Comics has always been a supporter of music in entertainment with Archie's own band The Archies and Josie and the Pussycats, so it's no surprise we're all hard-core Gleeks," stated Goldwater.

Even Archie artist Fernando Ruiz has gone on the record as a devoted Gleek. "Like Archie and the gang, Glee has colorful teenagers, wacky situations and a classic love triangle! It's a recipe that makes the show exciting and unpredictable. I would love the opportunity to bring Glee into Archie Comics," said Ruiz.

For more information on LIFE WITH ARCHIE #3: NOV 2010 and true-blue Gleeks Archie, Betty, Veronica and their friends, stay tuned to ArchieComics.com!

On unreatlted  note are Reggie and Veroinca going to cheat on Archie in the LWA married to Veroinca :o and will we ever find out what on earth happened to Mr.Lodge get so Vicous that he make Sue Slvyester look like  sweet kitten.

Oh for the love of ....

Is it too much to ask for just the story?  No Glee or tween "stars" crap...

Thank God I have the trade ordered.

...Is the TPB announced already ?
For a bit of history , about 1970/71 , DC Comics' Archie-clone titles , LEAVE IT TO BINKY , DATE WITH DEBBI , and , SWING WITH SCOOTER , were also trying this " give somewhat more space to ' teen magazine '-style stuff " approach , and putting blurbs on the cover !
In their case , they actually had real interviews with ( would be , anyways ) music stars of the day , which I don't think Archies have had...

Chillax, homeslice. You'll still get the stories. If you don't want to read the articles, then don't.

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.

Well I wont.  But it still annoys me that a perfectly good comic is covered in them in Archie's desperate attempt to market this title towards kids, despite the fact that the actual story content is much more suited to a different demographic entirely.
