  • Tuxedo Mark: Brunette: I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she turns back to men. According to her girlfriend, my then-girlfriend started thinking she might be a lesbian sometime last year, simply because her friend said she had a crush on her. She said my ex-girlfriend simply had never considered the possibility that she was anything but heterosexual. I mean...seriously? 27 years, 4 of which were spent in a romantic relationship with me, and she never ONCE thought she might be a lesbian? And all that it took to get her thinking so was a girl saying she had a crush on her?

    March 09, 2010, 10:52:35 AM
  • Tuxedo Mark: Surprise: Actually, I feel she's been thoughtless about my feelings for a while now. Both she and her girlfriend say she agonized over her decision to break up with me, because she didn't want to cause me pain. However, I feel she handled everything about it wrong. She didn't tell me that she's a lesbian until after she was already engaged to her new girlfriend. She didn't tell me that she and her friend were involved until I expressed interest in chatting with her last month. She didn't even tell me about the engagement at all. However, she did seem perfectly fine with announcing it on a Transformers forum . It's nice to know that an ex-fiance is a lower priority to her than a casual forum acquaintance.

  • Surprise: TM, now she's just being thoughtless about your feelings.  You will be very aware in the future that it was a good thing you are not in this relationship anymore; I know from previous experience with an ex-boyfriend who told me personal things like this.

  • Tuxedo Mark: I feel bad all over again. My ex-girlfriend recently told me that she got permission to visit her girlfriend, possibly next month. I know I should be happy for her, but I just feel...physically ill instead. :(

One thing I am always blown away by is how progressively professional the new look stories are.  When I first saw them, I was worried that they wouldn't catch the Archie appeal, but after seeing them for a while, they've consistently gotten better and better.

I'm pretty surprised about that myself. And I've also noticed that "My Father's Betrayal" is the only one that has a Jughead with an easy-to-make hairstyle...in other words, they look more realistic than the others. But I'm especially looking forward to "Archie Goodbye Forever", even though I have a hunch that something very specific will happen....
When it comes to food Archie Comics, I'm an expert.
