  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)
    May 21, 2012, 07:23:13 AM
  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

  • Biollante: Joe Quesada was drawing Thor on some Disney promo, and he drew him flying with his hammer on his side, now I'm not a Thor junkie, but isn't that actualy inaccurate, doesn't he fly by being dragged by his hammer???

So nice to see some new Little Archie stories pop up.  Since Little Archie was my introduction to Archie comics, I always have a soft spot for those comics.

...Seeing BETTY with a $2.99 price tag makes me finally sure of this...Okay , Archie HAS , 100% , switched to " better " paper for their 32-pagers , right ???????????
When I first saw it on JUGHEAD #200 I thought that it might be a -  :coolsmiley: " special issue " 8) sort of deal .
I wonder how Stan's art will look on the more expensive - & less absorbent :o :D sort of paper .
I'm not entirely sure that it will be 100% better , when " other " :D :buck2: comic book companies introduced " better " paper for their normal-sized books in the 80s , I'm not to sure that I always thought that it was an improvement :o :'( .
Does this mean that the 32ers are being not printed in partnership with DC's " kids' line " ( Looney Toons , Super Friends , et al ) 32ers , which appear to still be on pulp paper , anymore :( ?

Betty's got this really weird look on her face when she talks about dates with Archie in "Second Chance".

"Tree Trouble" seems really loony. Is Betty that distraught over the thought of carving her initials into a tree?

Oh, and Hal? Just be glad that Betty no longer has a waterproof poster of Archie taped up in the shower.

At least, not that we know of.

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.

you'd think she could at least cut back on the number of photos of Archie . . . even Twilight fans don't have that many of Edward.

Archie #608 was on glossy paper too, so my guess is, it's a permanent thing.
