  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

So, if it's Christmas Eve, why are Betty and Veronica just now doing their shopping? Surely, the presents would arrive late.

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.

I think they've been ordering their presents before Christmas Eve and they were showing the computer just as a visual aid. Or maybe they were just checking on the status of their orders.

Anyway, I love the return of the jalopy into a new Archie story. Grandpa Archie hugging Veronica is a little creepy though.

I wonder if this is Archie Comics way of getting the jalopy back into Archie's world. It would be pretty cool if Grandpa Andrews gave it to Archie after he gets it back from Mr.Lodge.

I think Captain Hero was referring to the Andrews men's reaction towards Veronica.

NOW we know how the Archie characters stay young SO LONG!

They are really succeeding generations, with that old man as the ORIGINAL Archie!

Clever, huh?;)

(Ok, just kidding...Fred isn't Archie, of course, nor is Mary a Betty, either.)

I think you mean Alice.

She's too busy leading a double life as a transexual rock star to be Betty. :P

LOL!!!XD

I do mean Mary not being Betty (Archie MARRIED to Betty maybe, and they produce little Archies and Bettys together. But no, Archie's mom isn't blonde.)

Offline archiecomicsfan27

i got both of these today and i have to say Archie # 239 does have a nice little twist to it :D and i like the flashback seen it felt very forties-ish
