  • Archie Comics Collector: Jughead and Archie #3 is worth it and very good. Lead story has Jughead trying to be Pop's best customer with great art by Rex Lindsey. One in which Jughead's sister Jellybean is in danger which was one of my favorites, another where Jughead is stuck in a doggy door. One where Jughead trys to avoid excercise and is funnny the work he does to avoid this and more great ones and some good Wilkin boy stories.

ARCHIE NEW LOOK SERIES VOLUME 3: MOOSE & MIDGE BREAKUP BLUES
It's the third installment in Archie's dynamic "New Look" series! For years, Archie fans the world over wondered what

their favorite Riverdale teens would look like if rendered in a realistic style, and in 2007, Archie Comics answered the

question with the ground-breaking, pulse-pounding, media-grabbing story: "Betty & Veronica: Bad Boy Trouble!" The

success of that story prompted them to create an entire "New Look" series, continuing with "Jughead: The

Matchmakers!"
Now, Archie Comics reprints "Moose & Midge: Breakup Blues" from PALS N GALS DOUBLE DIGEST

#125-128. When Midge decides to go on a date with Reggie Mantle behind Moose's back, the relationship dissolves before

their friends' very eyes! Can Betty, Archie and Veronica help the two former lovebirds see the light and rekindle the flame

between them? You'll never guess who comes to the rescue in this captivating story, brought to you by "New Look"

scribe Melanie J. Morgan and masterfully penciled in the realistic style by veteran artist Tod Smith, with inks from

journeyman talent Al Milgrom. Let's just hope Riverdale can survive the epic rift!

It's kinda odd that Archie emerged in his winter gear . . . after all, when he first walked up Memory Lane, he went from just after high school graduation to the day before university graduation while showing no signs of noticing the difference.  Showing up in a new winter coat in the middle of june? That's an entirely different kettle of fish.

Offline fredmanson

I thought that Archie #603 was drawn with a more dynamic kind. I'm a little disapointed by the drawings.
For Archie's fans, do ALL the series in single format are well worth the price? I have some Double Digest but no single at all...

Wait... Reggie's engaged? Or maybe even married?
"Stuck-up Riverdale punks... think they're too good for me!"

Offline Banshee

I like the lamp at the Jones'. ;)

Offline Captain Hero

I love the Archie wedding story...just picking out all the obscure Archie references in the dialogue...it's almost like a little game.
