  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

  • Biollante: Joe Quesada was drawing Thor on some Disney promo, and he drew him flying with his hammer on his side, now I'm not a Thor junkie, but isn't that actualy inaccurate, doesn't he fly by being dragged by his hammer???

The passion in this thread is a lot of fun to read.  :)

Okay, I won't comment on Midge/Jughead, since I can't add anything that hasn't already been said.

Also, Veronica/Reggie makes sense.

"He'll kill you for real this time!"??? How are we supposed to take this? It certainly puts the high school stories involving Moose's jealousy into a disturbing new context.

"Murder's NOT nice!!" Oh, it isn't. Thanks for clearing THAT up, Arch.

It's so refreshing to allow Betty to let her hair down without anyone calling attention to it. :)

Betty Cooper + Cheryl Blossom. It's inevitable.

"Murder's not nice" HAHAHAHAHA!  that should be my sig or something.

Veronica and Reggie might make sense, I just thinks it's a lame pairing.  they're almost exactly alike.

I kinda agree about the whole Reggie/Veronica are a lot alike. But then I watch Gossip Girl; and two of the characters are basically the same (Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf); manipulative, superficial, evil, etc -- but those two are fit together.

But then again, this is a children comic. So they get rid of the hotness, and just put the superficial.

I still wanna see Reggie/Betty, though.

If only Archie comics has its own live action series. I don't care if it's tone down for kids, but I'd like to see characters depth and development, and being teenagers.
