  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

I keep reading the sentence, and I cracked up everytime! It seems like a meta moment from the writer. BURN! Too bad it didn't get any reaction from Archie, and it seems he knows that he is a jerk (even he would ditch VERONICA in one chance to date a stranger!)

And that stranger.... really? "I'm new in town, can someone show me around?" Check if she has a knife in her backpocket before paying for dinner. And Archie didn't even bother to ASK HER NAME.


what's funny about it is archie's response: "I would but I can't." LOL!!! he has no scruples with being a worm and wriggling out of it.  such a jerk!!!

This actually quite interesting. I love how BIG Reggie's ego, and he acknowledge it. And the whole thing with a creature that represent your soul or ego or life, it's like The Golden Compass being, Daemon. A manifestation of a person's soul.

I'd like to see everyone's EGO here. What kind of creatures they are. Jughead's Ego looks like a cute gremlin. Nancy's Ego looks like a friendly hellhound. I'm guessing those things represent something; Jughead is always laid back and mischiveous in some way. Nancy is always stern and maybe a tad headstrong.

Reggie's giant ego looks like a giant troll. I'm guessing it represent Reggie who wants to blend in but cannot. Trolls also vindictive and playful - not to mention trolls treated people as they were treated. Is there a reason why Reggie's Ego is a form of troll?
