ANEW COMIC DAY FROM ARCHIE COMICS - ON SALE WEDNESDAY FEB 24th

ARCHIE #606
PALS 'n' GALS DOUBLE DIGEST #139
TALES FROM RIVERDALE DIGEST #37

ARCHIE & FRIENDS continue to appear in one thrilling and unforgettable story after another!  This February, readers have a chance to revisit their fond memories with new tales that follow-up on the spectacular events that have transpired in the last few months.

No story in recent Archie history was as talked-about… or as controversial… as the saga that unfolded in “The Archie Wedding” series.  Fans everywhere were taken aback as Archie proposed to Veronica… and then again when he proposed to Betty!  Archie’s walks up Memory Lane provided not one but two glimpses of his possible future… but what happens now that a dazed and confused Archie has been thrown back in the present day?  ARCHIE #606 aims to answer just that in the epilogue, “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.”  Can he readjust to the way things used to be before he walked up Memory Lane?  Famed movie producer Michael Uslan weaves the tale, with art by Archie legend Stan Goldberg.

Not one that specializes in Archie comics.  They dropped Archie from their line-up years ago, and only specialize in Marvel/DC.

It might be worth talking to your store, Captain.  Any comic store I've ever used on a regular basis has been more than happy to order special items for me through Diamond.  They're happy to have the business!

This is exactly right.  Any comics the store gets from Diamond are non-returnable, so if they don't sell it, they are stuck with it.  So they might not stock Archie comics on the shelf, but will most likely order them if you ask.  They probably have a "membership" which is free, and they will take your list of comics you want, and hold them for you each week.  Some stores will usually give a discount too, depending on the number of comics you get.

They are usually able to order any comic or digest released in the past three months as well.  I just did this at my local store to catch up with all the "2010" dated comics and digests.

So...what happens if Betty or Veronica walk up Memory Lane?

So...what happens if Betty or Veronica walk up Memory Lane?

That sounds like a stretch. And a possible story idea.

Still looking for #606 in my area. It's very hard to find, but I'm looking forward to these.
When it comes to food Archie Comics, I'm an expert.

I'm going to have to hit the comic shop this week. I haven't purchased an Archie since about a week after the one where Archie and Veronica have twins was released. I seriously need to get caught up here.
