  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

The layout of the panels is a bit neat - a lot of round ones making their way into the mix. I especially like the frameless ones in the Betty comic!

I was going to remark on that myself.  I do like the new layout of the panels too.

That place in Jughead and Friends reminds me of a local tourist trap that Jughead would love - Jungle Jim's.

Wow! All the Jungle Jim's around here have long-since closed. I actually got an ex-Nickelodeon actor as my waiter on a birthday visit to the restaurant in Orlando on Church Street! Oh, how I miss the lil' plastic animals perched on my soda glass.

Somehow, though, I imagine that if Jughead were to make it into a theme restaurant such as that one, he'd somehow manage to choke on a glass-percher which would deter him from future visits.... of course, I liken Jug to a black hole, he might not even notice if he were to accidentally inhale a non-food item! :2funny:

You obviously didn't click the link :P

This Jungle Jim's is an "International Market", not a Canadian restaurant chain. No matter what type of food you can think of, Jungle Jim's not only has it, they likely have more of it than anyone else in the midwest. For example, where else are you going to find 1600 kinds of cheese in one location?

I sure didn't - should have, but, didn't. The "Jungle Jim's" restaurant we used to have here was very kitschy and quite a tourist trap so, I just figured well, ... you know. ;)

Per the recent comic featuring Jughead buying the 500 pounds of peanuts, I suppose it goes without saying that he'd be pleasantly surprised to find such a place as your Jungle Jim's! I'm sure it would also make gift-giving easier for him too. 1600 cheeses though?... cray-zee! :P

1600 cheeses though?... cray-zee! :P

As a cheese lover (I buy bricks of cheese at the supermarket and eat them whole just to try them out), I'd love to see that.

:2funny: While I don't buy bricks, I do the same thing at our supermarket. There isn't too much of a variety, but... During the superbowl party, I think I'd died and gone to heaven since a lot of the nibbles provided were various types of cheese-y wonderments!! :2funny:

SPOILERS AHEAD: (marked in yellow so it's harder to read at a glance though)
For anyone who's read that comic though (where Jughead purchases all the nuts), did anyone find it quite rude from all parties that he'd then try to sell the nuts he'd just purchased in front of the very same shop, and that it would illicit such a hostile reaction from the store owner? Not too polite on either persons' part, imo.
