  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

What's up with Reggie's hair in those panels! And his face looks as wide as Moose's face in some of them!

It looks like Reg's Uncle is trying to sell Archie's old jalopy to Jughead. That would have been an interesting way to bring back that car, but it makes no sense if Jug is looking for safe!

so wait is that Archie's old jalopy Betsy??
Archie Comics are my WHOLE life

so wait is that Archie's old jalopy Betsy??

If it is, I wonder why Archie isn't freaking out over it.  After all, Archie reportedly tried looking for his beloved "Ol' Betsy" during the late eighties.

What is it with that new style in the Jughead book, lol? It looks kinda quick drawn and weird. I've seen a few styles like that.
When it comes to food Archie Comics, I'm an expert.

It seems a bit like lazy art - the facial expressions aren't very expressive and they all seem similar.

I agree the art on that Jughead's double digest is a bit.... odd.  :P I really like the inking, though.  :)
Question authority.  They usually know where the bathroom is.

Offline Banshee

I like it, though.:)

Offline Captain Hero

The art on Jughead's Double Digest does seem quite odd...but then again, I bet some of us thought the same way when other artists came into the fold.

Terry Austin is a great inker. I have very fond memories of his X-Men work over John Byrne way back when.

Terry Austin on Archie? Wow, Terry is pretty up there in terms of talented inkers. I didn't think he would ever have the time to work on non-DC or Marvel properties.
