  • DeCarlo Rules: @archie 45 - WOA56 is an Annual. As such, they put some special sections in there that don't necessarily appear in WOA on a regular basis, so I wouldn't get my hopes up. The funny thing is that LWA stories tend to appear in all 3 of the Archie digests with a fair amount of frequency, and have never been partitioned by their own title page before. That was one one of the oldest LWA stories in WOA56, so it probably functions almost as a Vault section.

Some quick notes.

Didn't I JUST suggest that digests should shoot for more multi-part stories? Haha!! Not that I'm taking credit, I'm sure it's been in the works for a while, it's just fun to see it happening. I hope it's good. My wife was supposed to subscribe to Betty and Veronica Digest (I subbed to B&V Friends), but she hasn't yet. Maybe I should go poke her about that.

So going by the covers to New Archie so far, I take it Veronica is not in these first few issues and will be introduced later?

The last Jughead variant is awesome.

Afterlife with Archie and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina still MIA. Again. *sad*

Looks like it's the beginning of the end for Mega Man in the world of Archie ....for now.

I was planning to just start getting the Mega Man trade paperback collections, but now it looks like I'll just get the last three issues, #53, 54, & 55.

For the rest, it will just be the digests and the Archie: 75 Years 75 Stories collection for me. (I might get The Shield when it comes out as a trade paperback, I haven't decided yet.)

I wonder if we will ever actually see the Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #265 solicited here or if it will be replaced when it actually ships by another "Collectors' Edition" composed of all reprints from the Best of Archie collections.

"I can't help it I tell you... I can't help it! They're drawn so GOSH DARNED CUTE !

I can't wait for Archie #3, all those covers look awesome. Especially Andrew Robinson cover. I found this I guess it could been another choice for a cover.
