  • DeCarlo Rules: Also I'm sure that when Life With Kevin is released as a digital comic, you will probably see ad links to buy it on ComiXology and Archie Digital on all the normal comics news sites.
  • DeCarlo Rules: Trust me, when Life With Kevin becomes available as a digital comic, it will be mentioned in the news section of and by Jonathan on the Riverdale Podcast. I would guess that shortly after the first story arc is completed as a digital comic, they will collect the chapters into a graphic novel and put it in the normal Archie solicitations.
  • CAPalace: I'm guessing it won't be in solicits because solicits are mostly for comic book stores to know what's coming out for their customers. They'll probably advertise the Kevin comic in the digests/other comics and online, I guess.

  • BettyReggie: I meant to say will Life With Kevin appears in the solicts how will know when to look for it?
    June 28, 2015, 06:37:12 PM
  • BettyReggie: So does anyone know when Life With Kevin will come out? It's a shame, it's will be digital. I would love real copy. And will show it the solicts?
    June 28, 2015, 06:36:12 PM
  • DeCarlo Rules: I think Adam Hughes is fine for the 'good girl art' approach, but going with the illustrative/realistic style as opposed to the cartoon style is just wrong to me. On the other hand, I have no problem with J. Bone's version of Kevin Keller -- it's not that far away from the original.

Archie is proud to present this top-notch new full-color original graphic novel for tween and teen girls created by award-winning writer/artist team J. Torres and Rick Burchett. The high literary quality of the book has led Archie to launch a simultaneous Smythe-sewn hardcover edition ideal for libraries and collectors.
Feisty tomboy high school freshman Jinx explores the social perils of the high school experience as old friendships change and she struggles with the new expectations attached to becoming a young woman.

The good news is the gang's all here at Rose Valley High: her best friends Greg and Roz as well as her greatest frenemies Charlie and Gigi. The bad news is the old gang isn't acting quite the same in their new environment. Charlie acts like a bully when he isn't simply acting strangely around Jinx.

However, a new school means new rules, such as no co-ed teams, which means she can't even play ball with the boys who were in little league with her. As rules and relationships become more complicated, one thing remains the same: Jinx means bad luck to anyone who gets in the way of her getting her way!

This outstanding graphic novel is a bright, full-hearted coming of age story told with great humor, charm and compassion.
