Archie Comic Publications, Inc. is donating a corporate contribution to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund and urges everyone to aid the relief efforts in Haiti. The destruction that began on January 12, 2010  with a series of earthquakes measuring from 6.5 to 7.3 on the Richter scale have devastated Haiti. The American Red Cross is working with its partners, the global Red Cross, the Red Crescent network, the Haitian Red Cross and others to assist those affected by this disaster. To make it easier to donate Archie Comics has added a link to the Red Cross on its website. Archie Comics co-CEO Jon Goldwater advocates, "We are deeply saddened by the destruction in Haiti and we are calling on all our readers to contribute what they can. Even just one dollar from every single Archie fan will go a long way to alleviating the suffering in Haiti."
