I hope someone's able to make it to the convention! Hopefully, there'll be some pictures or first-hand accounts afterwards. It really sounds like such a great panel will be there though, which ought to be a lot of fun for anyone who's able to attend. :)

I'm not financially able to go unfortunately. I'm a subway ride away but I don't really have the money available to make it worth my while to go to a con right now. I went the first year and it was fun but way too crowded.

I'm taking a train to NYC tomorrow for the weekend so I can go to comic con, the bf and I planned a whole getaway just so we can attend, I am so excited to be going! I'll try to remember to take lots of pictures and post them here when I'm back. I should probably get to packing, I don't know how to decide which issues I want to bring with me to get signed, anyone have some input on making important decisions like that?

Really wish I could go myself, but I've got 11 out of 14 days of annual leave left, half of which will be used to fly home to Australia for my mum's birthday. The other half? I'm trying to save it for the next half of the year.

And the costs of travelling there? No thanks. I'll just wait until I'm filthy rich. Just imagine the breaking news in a future issue of the Metal Hammer magazine: "HEAVY METAL BASSIST CAUGHT AT ARCHIE COMICS BOOTH AT NEW YORK COMIC CON!!!"
Zach uses:

Guitars: Washburn WV16 (shown in display pic), Cort X6, Godin BG5 5-string bass, Squire P-Bass, Squire P-Bass Special

Equipment: Ashdown Engineering, Marshall, Smokey Amplification, EMG, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, BOSS, EHX, Digitech, Ibanez, Jim Dunlop, Ernie Ball Strings

Jughead's Pseudo World Tour (rated T+) (Pt.7 posted 20-12-08)

A situation like this should never exist - then why are we out of control?

The Calgary Entertainment Expo is this weekend - which is a looooong way away from New York!  However, I hope to find at least a few Archie books to purchase.
No matter where I go, there I am.  Creepy.
