  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

I love the cover gag for Jughead's Double Digest #133...very original!

And, if the latest trend continues about how the cover gag is related to the first story of the book, Archie's Double Digest #182 looks like it's going to be a great one!

ICK! Who's coloring Parent's work on the B&V and Veronica covers?

Tales #23 has an awesome cover.
And I'm so glad Sonic's being collected. I have a few holes in my old collection and I wouldn't mind replacing some of those old issues with a nice trade. The covers aren't looking too shabby!

The coloring on these covers is preliminary. They change significantly by the time they're published. They become much softer and subtle in the published work, not as bright and garish as they are here.

Yeah, I don't mind when I see pre-existing patterns pasted into clothing, but Archie's always seemed best in flat colors.
