  • Biollante: probalby, but 59 percent is considered a "blow out" in political terms, some people are on shaky ground right now, there was evne a conservative pollset that worked for Bush warning people that if Republicans are against things like gay marriage in the near future, they would endure catastrophic losses, I don't know if it's this political cycle, but the paradigm shift already happened a while ago

  • Steveinthecity: I wonder why it's always readers that catch mistakes with art, powers, plots, continuity, uniforms, etc. and not the creators and editors?  I hope they're not secretly laughing at us. ;)

  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.
    May 21, 2012, 07:57:37 AM
  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)
    May 21, 2012, 07:23:13 AM
  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

  • Biollante: Joe Quesada was drawing Thor on some Disney promo, and he drew him flying with his hammer on his side, now I'm not a Thor junkie, but isn't that actualy inaccurate, doesn't he fly by being dragged by his hammer???

FASHION WEEK AT ARCHIE COMICS: VERSACE DOES ARCHIE

New York, NY (Sept 10, 2010): Archie Comics—home of the super-hot SOLD OUT premier of Kevin Keller, VERONICA #202—has been honored in the art of Donatella Versace as Archie Comics’ newest addition, Kevin Keller, dons his own personal Versace style.

Archie Comics’ first gay character received the privilege of “walking the runway” in a personalized fashion designed by Versace herself to celebrate his official debut September 1st in VERONICA #202. And now ArchieComics.com, in honor of New York’s famous and fabulous Fashion week, has the privilege of hosting Versace’s design in full detail!

“It’s a thrill to watch Kevin Keller rock into the world of Archie and his friends in true Versace style” remarked Jon Goldwater, Co-CEO of Archie Comics.

An homage to one of Kevin’s original character designs released back in April, the Donatella Versace drawing features Kevin Keller in his best western. The design features Kevin in cuffed black skinny jeans, a side-slung belt with traditional Greek “meandros” pattern featuring a stunning belt buckle emblazoned with the Head of Medusa, and black motorcycle boots with matching Medusa accents. A custom modern “frontier” jacket is the highlight of the look. The spectacular, white, fitted, high-collar, modern motorcycle jacket is accented extensively across the chest with black fringe and beading and an elaborate cross strap and zipper closure. As labeled by The Daily Beast, Kevin’s look is designed to tackle the “Final Frontier.”

The fantastic drawing, featured originally as an exclusive on TheDailyBeast.com, comes to Archie at the full courtesy of Donatella Versace and The Daily Beast.

For more information on Kevin Keller and his introduction or for your own copy of his premier book VERONICA #202, visit ArchieComics.com

Just looked it up in an online dictionary, and if used as an adjective, it means first in occurance, and since Veronica #202 is Kevin's first appearance...it fits...spelling and all.

And, you're RIGHT about it being sold out.  I can't find a copy of it ANYWHERE!

I need one, too, and I can't even get the pamphlets around here at all.
