  • Biollante: probalby, but 59 percent is considered a "blow out" in political terms, some people are on shaky ground right now, there was evne a conservative pollset that worked for Bush warning people that if Republicans are against things like gay marriage in the near future, they would endure catastrophic losses, I don't know if it's this political cycle, but the paradigm shift already happened a while ago

  • Steveinthecity: I wonder why it's always readers that catch mistakes with art, powers, plots, continuity, uniforms, etc. and not the creators and editors?  I hope they're not secretly laughing at us. ;)

  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Biollante: ok so shouldn't Joe Quesada know that? lol  It made him look a bit stupid imo.
    May 21, 2012, 07:57:37 AM
  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)
    May 21, 2012, 07:23:13 AM
  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

  • Biollante: Joe Quesada was drawing Thor on some Disney promo, and he drew him flying with his hammer on his side, now I'm not a Thor junkie, but isn't that actualy inaccurate, doesn't he fly by being dragged by his hammer???

Scare Up Some Fun with Archies 2007 Halloween Mini-Comic

Each year Archie Comics produces a mini-comic for Halloween. These comics are made exclusively for comic book specialty stores and published in connection with Diamond Comics Distribution.  Participating comic book shops give these mini-comics away free to their customers at Halloween.  In past years fans have seen Sabrina turn manga for the first time.  The one and only time Archie and the Riverdale kids were drawn manga style.  Archie and the gang dressed up as there favorite heroes to see the debut of the Shield movie.  Katy Keene returned to the pages of Archie Comics.  As well as Archie's first Weird Mystery.  This year as a special treat Dexter Taylor and Little Archie creator Bob Bolling present two tales of the Little Archies.  If you would like to reserve a copy or if you would like the opportunity to give these mini-comics away to trick or treaters in your neighborhood, you need to act quickly because orders need to be in by the end of July.  You can find a comic retailer near your home by calling 1-888-COMIC BOOK, (888)-266-4226 or click this link http://csls.diamondcomics.com

I don't think my comic shop gets these mini-comics. It's a shame as that Dexter Taylor artwork looks very good. Considering they did a Little Archie FCBD issue and this Halloween mini-comic, I wonder if there's any chance Archie is testing the waters for a new Little Archie title. Boy, imagine if we could get new Bolling stories on a consistent basis. Heck, I wouldn't even mind if they did it as a bi-monthly title.

awww- now I'm hooked.  gotta look into the shops around here and see who will have it.... I know of at least two places who won't for sure- they don't cary ANY archie stuff. It's really sad.
Question authority.  They usually know where the bathroom is.

My local comic book shop ordered me a bundle (25 for $5.00) , so if anyone misses it, I should have some copies left after Halloween.
