That's amazing!  I haven't read a Sonic comic book, but I was addicted to the Sonic the Hedgehog games.

Congratulations, Sonic staff! Smiley

Wow!  That's actually pretty cool.
I've been thinking about trying to collect the Sonic books - but are the early issues EVER expensive.  I like the fact that there are the compilations though.

Congrats on the record. I've never read the comics either, but played the video game a few times back in the glory days (when Sega Genesis was a popular system).

<- another person who's never read the comics, but, has played (and still owns and even has it currently set up) the game on the Sega Genesis. I also think I saw the cartoon once or twice, but, I was never really able to get into it.

Interestingly, the comic shop where I buy all my new issues actually stocks and sells Sonic.  All the regular Archie material that I buy is ordered in just for me and they do not buy extra copies for their sales racks. Sad

Although, I think they are starting to consider buying Archie's again because they are consistently impressed with the ones that come in for me.  With the right display, the Archie books are very "friendly" to kids, moms, and even those that collect in other areas.

Sonic is a great way to get people looking at the other Archie books and this record is something that can be marketed upon.
