Archie and Betty--blue. Very common, in blondes & gingers.
Veronica--black/dark eyes. For those hot, sultry looks, shot across a room. Or volcanic rages, whatever.
Reggie, blue or brown, your pick.
Midge--blue or brown. Ditto Moose.
Jughead...gray. On the rare occasions they are open.
Sabrina--Cat/Emerald Green, darn it! Never blue! Looks more "witchy" that way.

The newspaper comic is a dying art, no longer interesting to read in your kitchen table in the morning before you head out to work or school. The papers are shrinking the size of most of them and other papers abandoned them, save the political themed cartoons. Would be nice to see the dailies in color not just the sundays. I put the blame on internet comics releases, some Dilbert fans for example can load the comics and read them on the screen, and not buy an ink-and-paint newspaper.
The Internet has been around since the 80s, the newspaper business model for more than 200 years.
Guess which one is run by people too rigid to change?

The TPB The Best of Archie Comics: Betty and Veronica includes a checklist of collected editions on the inside covers. The Sabrina book is listed for a June release. It was originally solicited for May via Amazon, then moved to "unavailable". Now it's 2 1/2 years from now? Weird.
Amazon sometimes boosts the date back by years, if an exact date aint available.
Seen it before.
Riverdale & all it's inhabitants, but set in different historical periods.
The Old West, Victorian England, Elizabethan England, etc.
Spend a year doing stories set in one era, then a year set in another.
If we go by names, this means that:

Rip Haywire is fresh.
Oddly, I've gotten fond of the newly refreshed Dick Tracey.
