Archie and Betty--blue. Very common, in blondes & gingers.
Veronica--black/dark eyes. For those hot, sultry looks, shot across a room. Or volcanic rages, whatever.
Reggie, blue or brown, your pick.
Midge--blue or brown. Ditto Moose.
Jughead...gray. On the rare occasions they are open.
Sabrina--Cat/Emerald Green, darn it! Never
blue! Looks more "witchy" that way.

Those Archie do-it-yourself comics from the 50s would look good on my shelf.

The newspaper comic is a dying art, no longer interesting to read in your kitchen table in the morning before you head out to work or school. The papers are shrinking the size of most of them and other papers abandoned them, save the political themed cartoons. Would be nice to see the dailies in color not just the sundays. I put the blame on internet comics releases, some Dilbert fans for example can load the comics and read them on the screen, and not buy an ink-and-paint newspaper.
...FWIW the San Francisco Chronicle here runs all it dalies in color now .
The Internet has been around since the 80s, the newspaper business model for more than 200 years.
Guess which one is run by people too rigid to change?

it seems to me amazon has pushed the dates for some titles
Betty & Veronica: Love at First Bite : (September 26, 2017)
The Complete Sabrina the Teenage Witch: 1962-1971 (Sabrina's Spellbook) : (December 27, 2016)
is this true???
I've seen Amazon give screwy dates, whenever they can't get good info.

The TPB The Best of Archie Comics: Betty and Veronica includes a checklist of collected editions on the inside covers. The Sabrina book is listed for a June release. It was originally solicited for May via Amazon, then moved to "unavailable". Now it's 2 1/2 years from now? Weird.
Amazon sometimes boosts the date back by years, if an exact date aint available.
Seen it before.

Riverdale & all it's inhabitants, but set in different historical periods.
The Old West, Victorian England, Elizabethan England, etc.
Spend a year doing stories set in one era, then a year set in another.

ElizabethIf we go by names, this means that:
Hebrew/Greek/English: My God is a vow
English, Biblical: From Ελισαβετ (Elisabet), the Greek form of the Hebrew name אֱלִישֶׁבַע ('Elisheva') meaning "my God is an oath" or perhaps "my God is abundance". In the Old Testament Elisheba is the wife of Aaron. In the New Testament Elizabeth is the mother of John the Baptist. It was also borne by the 12th-century Saint Elizabeth, a daughter of King Andrew II of Hungary who became a Franciscan nun and lived in poverty. This was also the name of a ruling queen of England and an empress of Russia. Famous modern bearers include the British queen Elizabeth II and actress Elizabeth Taylor.
Greek: Victory bringer
English, Italian, Romanian: Latin form of BERENICE (see below), the spelling influenced by the ecclesiastical Latin phrase vera icon meaning "true image". This was the name of a legendary saint who wiped Jesus's face with a towel and then found his image imprinted upon it.
Macedonian form of the Greek name Φερενικη (Pherenike), which meant "bringing victory" from φερω (phero) "to bring" and νικη (nike) "victory". This name was common among the Ptolemy ruling family of Egypt.
- Veronica really is the Cleopatra of Riverdale High
- Veronica will win--i.e. marry Archie, defeating Betty
- After losing to Veronica, Betty will take Holy Vows, and become a Nun.

Rip Haywire is fresh.
But truly, who reads newspapers? Farmers?
I get all my strips online.
For online-only comics--
- Girl Genius
- Atomic Laundromat
- Evil Inc
- Dungeons & Denizens
- Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic (semi-NSFW?)
- Sandra and Woo
Oddly, I've gotten fond of the newly refreshed Dick Tracey.

Awsome. That sound realy cool.
Giselle is an artist who has done some great work for Archie. Like the Reversedale issue, where all the girls become boys, and boys become girls.
We need more Gisele, she is awesome. Not to be stupid question but who is Gisele? I am new to Archie comics.
The Reversedale story was reprinted recently in The Best of Archie Comics volume 3. It's a hoot.
More on Gisele Lagace: http://www.giselelagace.com/index.html
Are you certain?
I find no reference to the Reversedale story in volume 3.
