I had a good assortment of Strawberry Shortcake dolls and Pound Puppies, I also had a Cabbage Patch doll from when I was really young. Later, as various presents, I got a Popple ("Potato Chip!"), a Fluppy Dog, and some small plastic Carebear, Wuzzle and Gummi Bear figures. Most of the other toys I had that I played with far more often were usually generic stuffed animals that I loved!
I remember a school trip to a Fire Station where the firemen were using a Teddy Ruxpin to explain to the kids about fire safety... I also remember it really creeping me out because I think that was one of the first times I'd ever seen that particular doll. Same with "My Buddy", "Kid Sister" and "The Huggabunch" dolls...
I had a LOT of stickers and coloring books, and would also get a lot of those read-a-long books that came with a tape. I also though that those books where you color with a "magic pen" (a pen filled with water), were *SO* neat and I had a few of those. I still have some sticker sheets from when I was younger, same with the coloring books, though I'm not sure exactly where they are currently.
No pictures though, you'll just have to imagine the awesomeness!!
As far as some of those robots go, I found a "Tin Heads/Space Toy Academy/Class of 62" poster a few years ago that features a bunch of toys, but, I guess all my collecting tends to stray to paper goods. Hmm... strange.

Wow. Okay, even the first SECONDS of that video look strange! I... can't believe I watched the whole thing without blinking (well, at least, not too much.) That baby head creeps me out. There's a Kobe restaurant (Japanese food) that I go to that has various masks on the wall, and somehow, I've always managed to be seated under one that looks like the one in the video. It's creepy on the wall in a restaurant, and it's creepy when Robert Smith hurls one around!

I've got a bunch of obscure(?) titles that used to belong to my uncles and mom. Mostly horror story comics.
Look at the top corner of the horror titles.... if it says "EC" on them, you may be in for a pleasant surprise. If not, they they may be the DC or Marvel revival books of the 70's - which are actually not bad, but also not worth a whole lot unless they are in very good condition. The EC's can be worth a few pennies in almost any shape. They're mostly "Whitman", "DC", "Harvey" and one each of "CDC" and "Charlton Comics"

I'm the 70's - so I had:
Large-sized G.I. Joe's - who often battled "Big Jim" action figures (GI Joe knock-off's with outdoor rather than military themes)
I had "smash-em/crash-em" derby cars - pull the cord, crash them and watch the pieces fly off!
Evil Kenievil was big - I have the childhood bike-jump scars to prove it!
The Bionic man! - look through his head to see magnified world views, roll-up his freaky plastic skin to remove and insert bionic plastic items.
Then, of course, there were the WB and Disney stuffed characters. These were large stuffed characters back when stuffed characters were not easy to find.
When I got "older" I was into the Star Wars world (and Battlestar Galactica - first series), etc. I still have 10 of the 11 original Star Wars figures on the shelf in my office. They are missing blasters, sabers etc, but these are the real-deal - bought back when the movie first came out. If only I'd boughten extras and left them in their packages! - apparently, the originals in packages are $1000+ each now. Sadly, there is no way to tell the difference once they are out of the package between them and the Empire sets.
I dated a huge Star Wars fan awhile back who actually *found* a few collector's plates, AND a Darth Vader toy case (jam-packed with figures) just setting on the curb, for the garbage men to pick up!

Frank's submission: Captain Hero's submission: Apologies for the squished text with Frank's submission. I should have switched out the balloons but my computer's running a bit slow at the moment. >_< I hope you're all still able to make out what's being said!
