An Hawaiian themed party This is a pet peeve of mine. An is not used for all words that begin with h. It's used for all words that sound like they begin with a vowel. So, an hour is correct, but an Hawaiian isn't. TALES FROM RIVERDALE DIGEST #20 This image won't show up.

Welcome to the board, Ginny! I'm Mark Moore, age 28. I got 2 Archie digests in 1990 (when I was 11), a subscription to "Archie & Friends" from my sister in 1993, and started buying titles on my own in 1999. I maintain The Betty Cooper FAQ, where I gather all of the information that I can cull about Betty. If you want to read it (it's pretty long), it's here: http://supergirl.741.com/Betty/bettyfaq.html

Brunet: It's decent. The character designs are slightly different than the comics, but it's nothing that you won't get used to.
Dial A: What's this about DVDs? I never knew there was a DVD release.

(How can I be so STUPID to have lost so many great comics from the 1980s?! My sister and I both collected a whole load back then...oh, well - can always get the reprints in future digests. ) Just be aware that the stories might not be the same in the digests. They might recolor Cheryl's hair brown and rename her Ginger, or they might call records CDs.

General Category / General Discussion / A KKK branch has its headquarters in my town!

I was surprised when I saw the report on the local news today. Apparently, they chose this town/county, because they like the demographics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citrus_County%2C_FloridaNow, the report said that the headquarters is in Homosassa Springs. There are apparently 2 towns, Homosassa and Homosassa Springs. I don't know where the dividing line is, but, if you grive 10 minutes north to Wal-Mart, that's Homosassa Springs. I'm not sure about the area that I live in. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosassa%2C_Floridahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosassa_Springs%2C_FloridaAnyway, the point is that the headquarters of a major Florida KKK branch is nearby. That's pretty disturbing.
