  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

Looking for some 80's-90's Digests

I'm looking to pick up some older digests and doubles for my personal collection, and wanted to just put this up on the forums in case anyone comes along with some to spare.

B&V Double Digest #21 (Oct 1990)
Archie Double Digest #42 (1989?)
Archie Double Digest #50 (1990?)
Archie Digest #48
B&V Annual Digest #3
Jughead With Archie Digest #101 (1990?)
Jughead Jones Digest #51

I have B&V Annual Digest #3 in pretty nice shape, but I don't really want to sell it.  I almost guarantee that Captain Hero has all of those, but I don't think he'd want to sell them, either.

You're right, Zach...I will NEVER part with my collection.

However, there is a used bookstore in my town that sells used Archie comics.  I'd be glad to take a look for you if ever you need it.

Good man! I would never have parted with mine either - but I had to leave them behind when I came to the US.

If you see anything at that store off my list, let me know! Don't need to be in perfect condition. :)
