  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

The MadHouse #1 is $10, because of the condition.

The JWA #50 and MadHouse #5 are $3 each and the remaining four are $2 each.

You know...with some of those titles, I can finally complete some sets...most notable the Where Are You Digests.

There's a couple that I'm buying from other people, but I can send you a list of the ones that I would really like.  I've been searching for Jughead With Archie #1 forever!

Well, I'm updating this list as of December 24, 2011, and I have now completed the Archie...Archie Andrews...Where Are You set!  I am also just two away from completing three more titles!

Of course, there's always the 9,000 some pamphlet comics...LOL...

I can't believe this thread is one I posted four years ago...I am so close to completing my digest collection...I only lack two for a complete set of Archie Digest and Betty and Veronica Digest!

Four years ago, it was a much longer list!

Go to http://www.mycomicshop.com/.  They have those Betty and Veronica issues, Archie Digest #16, and possibly others on your list as well.  I've ordered Archie digests from them and I recommend them.  The only problem I encountered is that one time, I ordered a digest that was listed on their site but which wasn't in stock.  But the majority of the time, I've had good experiences with them.
