  • Archie Comics Collector: Jughead and Archie #3 is worth it and very good. Lead story has Jughead trying to be Pop's best customer with great art by Rex Lindsey. One in which Jughead's sister Jellybean is in danger which was one of my favorites, another where Jughead is stuck in a doggy door. One where Jughead trys to avoid excercise and is funnny the work he does to avoid this and more great ones and some good Wilkin boy stories.

Wanted: Life With Archie
« on: June 26, 2011, 08:30:30 PM »
So I was wondering if someone had the entire Life With Archie series up to the current issue that they'd be willing to sell, hopefully including the series leading up to it if possible. But even just LWA would be fine too. :)
I think that artist Norm Breyfogle has shown remarkable restraint by not having Mr. Lodge twirl his mustache in every panel as the character's evil traits become more and more defined.-Chris Cummins http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/04/the_10_craziest_moments_from_life_with_archie_the.php

If I took a shot at writing an Archie movie, would anyone mind?

You know, you can buy all the back issues directly from Archie Comics.

Do you have any interest in the old Life with Archie series, or are you just looking for the new married life ones?  I'm starting to sell my Archie collection and have about 30-40 of the old kind.

I'm mainly looking for the new series. But are the old ones any good?

I liked the older ones.  The stories in that serial weren't as lighthearted as the regular Archie comics.  It was more like adventure tales where Archie would stop crimes from being committed.

I can't compare the two series because I haven't read the new ones, but I liked the old style.  It had adventure tales like Captain Hero said and I think regular stories mixed in, maybe something like half half if I remember correctly.
