  • Steveinthecity: When Thor pulls the hammer back to throw, his momentum stops. He has always been able to float or hover once airborne, and he'll remain until the hammer comes back to him.  I guess the winds keep him aloft.

  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

My Turn to be New!

Stumbled across this forum the other day, and I am glad. I am a longtime comics reader but a total noob to Archie.

I looked at the Best of DeCarlo vol 2, and it was  :smitten: at first sight. Over the weekend, I picked up the Best of Archie 400 page digest, Christmas Classics, and Life with Archie #1 -- all on the Archie app. (I'm going to get an iPad soon, but Archie comics read great on my iPhone for now.)

Anyway, glad to find y'all here and hope to have a great time, all while learning more and more.

No load ! I was thinking along the lines that you must have spent four days creating a whole bunch of topics.

And I was feeling relieved, my friends tell me I am spending too much of my net time on this site :)
