Oldiesmann: Interesting to see they're bring Wilbur Wilkin back from the dead again. I remember them making a big deal of it when they suddenly decided he was Jughead's cousin years ago - only for him to vanish again, much like Jellybean

Tuxedo Mark: How absolutely pathetic. Five items, three of which are entirely reprints. Only two new 5-page stories for the entire month. Only two of the four "main" digests. And the story in the girls' digest features Bingo and Pureheart.

Found online, would you pay this price for an Archie Comic blanket?

DeCarlo Rules

Not to me. Maybe $25-$30, tops. It's not even that large. 3 x 5 feet, bath towel size.

Veronica probably wouldn't have to think twice about the price, but she'd be put off by the fact there are 4 images on that blanket of Betty together with (or kissing or embracing) Archie, and only 2 of Veronica together with - but not actually kissing - Archie (that's not counting the ones where the three of them all share a panel equally).

Maybe if it was a soft fleece blanket.
Yeah, it's. A 60-40 blend, so not even soft fleece.  The fringe and images are probably spiking the cost, as well as whoever thought this would be worth $53.00.  I wonder what the cost of producing the fringe is?  While it makes the blanket interesting, that little detail may have outpriced the market.
